MinervaFan, you don't have to post the B/W movie clips anymore; nex took care of it at HellaGood. Well, if you do have the first scene (in the Q mansion, before the dream), you can post that when you have a chance. If not, no worries. :) Thanks for offering. And nex, thanks for posting.

BSG, wonderful post at SOC. I am going to just keep my mouth (err, my fingers still, I guess) in regards to that topic.

EDIT: Ok, that same person responded. And now, someone needs to help BSG. I would, but we all know what happens when I step foot in a LuNacy vs. LnL thread. nex, MinervaFan, you both know how to make "politically correct" posts. If/when you have a break from work, feel free to lend your support.

If anyone is interested, HellaGood also has daily clips up of yesterday. The quality seems bit higher than Something-More, if that matters. Normally, I wouldn't mind, but I prefer the better quality clips for videos. Then again, clips were taken from SoapNet, and their logo on the bottom right of the screen is a bit obnoxious compared to the ABC one. Ahh...Decisions. Decisions. Link is here if you want. Credit Trudy.

Speaking of HellaGood, Tracy dropped to 206 this morning; she's at 209 right now.

PLEASE LET TRACY BE ON TODAY!

I voted. LOL at the Character Game. It seems the Sam fans and the Tracy fans are pretty much evenly matched, so the numbers vary back and forth by one point each way. One Sam fan moves it in her favor, to be followed up immediately by a Tracy fan, switching it back. It's funny, in a horrifying way.

MsQ, interesting about that What If story. I never liked the Trax combo for the very reasons you mentioned--it seemed wrong. I think we should have a big old fic brainstorming session. Just throw out crazy ideas and see who comes up with what. I've been so tunnel-visioned with other stuff, and I really want to get some Tracy fic written. None of my old stuff entices me, and I'm just dry on new ideas. Anybody interested in maybe Sunday morning, chatting? (Mornings are the only time I have online time anymore...just a reality of life until we can afford a second computer.)

Deb, what time on Sunday morning? And just so you know, brainstorming sounds like school. :P

EDIT: No Tracy. Lulu's not even at Shady Brook anymore. I don't get why they continue all other Lulu scenes, but they couldn't give us a wrap up of yesterday's. I mean, everything ELSE from yesterday was continued, even the stupid 2 month trial which served so purpose since Jason will never be convicted. Anyway, don't mind me. I'm just frustrated...

Oh goody, Jason is out of jail!

That poster that I replied to has just jumped down my throat. Whatever. I don't really want to ten rounds with him/her. But I'll respond.

MinervaFan: Here's the link if you want to jump in and fight the good fight. http://boards.soapcentral.com/showthread.p...9119&page=4 If that link doesn't work it's called Vet returning? Possible spoiler

Okay, let me just say right now that I love you women! Why this should matter so much, my logical brain can't answer, but it does.

Secondly, no Tracy today, sorry. And boot-to-the-head Lulu..... telling Coop that Scott wants the paternity test. Not pleased. Would it have been so hard to add a line about Tracy driving this one? Apparently.

Just read it, Ms. Q, and it makes great sense. You are very eloquent. ( Is there a spell check in here, anywhere?)

I don't think it would be that cut and dry, though..... Hopefully, if (and it's an unverified if) the catatonic one does return, it will just keep the drama high for LuNacy. Something JE and TG have been campaigning for for almost 30 years is not going to be thrown back off the table for the periodic appearances of GF. TPTB are not that stupid, look at the two sides of this waring already, and it's only rumoured that she returns. This can keep the tension and drama a lot higher - and more passionate - than anything else they've had on the screen for years. They might be dubbed TIIC for many reasons, but they must be able to smell the potential blood in the water.

I won't be happy if GF returns, but I'm going to love JE in whatever they throw her way.

I wondered, Ms. Q. You don't sound like a LuNacy defeatest to me.

BTW, I saw the mvid..... is there any outfit you actually like? Just asking.....

Also, a question to one and all, since I am trying to get caught up with past clips, etc. I'm trying to put together the chronology of Luke helping Tracy get ELQ. Now, she was CEO before the Luke/Helena money transfer thing, right? How did Alcazar bail out ELQ, to get hold of it? How did Carly fit into all of this? Al gave Carly the ELQ shares in their divorce settlement, which she held over the Q's. The point that really confuses me is how Carly got half of the hotel, while Tracy got ELQ back. Did Luke arange for Carly to give those 30 shares to Tracy directly? Do any of these questions make sense?

Hi. My name is Ms. Q, and I have an obsession with Tracy Quartermaine's Wardrobe.

I have a good wardrobe video too, remos. ;) Just haven't uploaded it to YouTube, 'cause it wasn't as "fun" as the other one. Will upload it to SendSpace later tonight hopefully, but off the top of my head, I like...

The teal blue, satin jacket

The dark blue jacket

The white/flower print jacket

The green business suit (skirt)

The hotel fire ensemble

Her hostage crisis outfit (even with the fur)

The pastel colored business suit (skirt)

The burgundy blouse with the black slacks

The red jacket (she wore it on the Haunted Star with Luke)

The red business outfit that she wore with Skye once upon a time

The black business ensemble she wore with Dillon at GH once upon a time

Her red pajamas that she wore with Dillon/Georgie

The ensemble she wore when discussing her abortion with Lulu

The light, blue short jacket

The Olive!Tracy business suit (skirt)

Her black outfit for Lila's memorial

Her white jacket/gray pants in the "Take me, I'm yours" scene

Her "Happy 39th Birthday" jacket

Her white tailored jacket with the black slacks

Her green "Dragon Lady" jacket

Her gray business suit which we haven't seen since post-Hotel Fire

Her recent classy pink blouse, with the dressy, black skirt

Her jacket when Luke said ILY

Her red, metrocourt blouse with black skirt...

Wow...I'm nuts.

Ooh! I remembered another one. The white blouse she wore for Nik/Em's engagement party.

Lady A, yay! You voted! Go Team!Tracy!

remos, yep, I love that outfit. I labeled it like this: Her recent classy pink blouse, with the dressy, black skirt. :) Sorry to overwhelm you.

About ELQ...But from what I understand, Helena held Emily at gun point at GH in Luke's hospital room. She wanted her 15 million dollars. Tracy, immediately, began to write her a check, but Helena was being difficult and wanted cash. Tracy couldn't give her cash for another 48 hours, so Helena whisked Emily away. Worried about Emily, Skye went to Lorenzo Alcazar, who had the cash on end to rescue her. Afterwards, he purchased some interest in ELQ and wanted something in return for giving up the 15 million...The CEO position.

The following month, Luke and Tracy made their "3 month deal." Luke acts as a husband for 3 months, helps Tracy solidify her CEO position, and then, she'd divorce him. Much sooner than 3 months later, there was a board meeting. Tracy, Ned, Justus, Jax, and Alan voted for Tracy. Lorenzo, Michael (Lorenzo's proxy), Monica, Emily (Monica's proxy), and Edward voted for Lorenzo. Skye still needed to vote (Tracy had locked her in a closet, but Luke had released her, so she could). She voted for Lorenzo; LuNacy's deal was off, since Luke didn't help his wife like he was supposed to.

Later, Luke convinced Lorenzo to give all his shares of ELQ to Carly in the divorce settlement. I think Luke wanted to get that stock from her and use it to bribe Tracy into a divorce. Tracy found out, but Luke had another plan. And then I got confused, because at some point, Luke and Carly owned the hotel together, and we don't hear about ELQ again 'til the summer. Skye/Edward were discussing how Tracy was CEO and how Edward wanted to get the company away from her. Evidently, she got the position back offscreen, just in time for the condom scandal, so she ended up being blamed for that. I wish I could be of more help. :(

It turns out that my grandfather's surgery went REALLY well. That is a relief.

Thanks for the clips, Ms.Q! I am going to watch most of those since I just recently started watching GH. I still have to watch yesterday's clips, too.

MinervaFan, I know it is getting ridiculous in the character game! I don't think Tracy has broken 212 yet, I am headed over there now for my vote. :D

I will have to watch the bad wardrobe videos. The dress thing she wore during Feb sweeps made me cringe.

    • I know some of y'all really like Brooke Kerr, and so I've tried to give her a shot, despite her frequent flat line readings and distracted "did I leave the front door unlocked?" facial expressions. But lord, she is so bad at playing a tough-talking badass that I was actually rooting for Brad today to spill the beans to Drew.
    • Googling does tend to ruin it.  For those of us who were teens in the late 1970s and early 1980s, you can't imagine how much fun it was to watch the show in the afternoons.  (It came on right after school.)  There weren't any "spoilers" at the time.  We would always try to anticipate how each crime and each mystery would be resolved, and we were ALWAYS wrong, because the stories are filled with so many weird twists and turns.   The head writer (Henry Slesar) and his dialogue writer (Steve Lehrman) invariably toss genuine clues directly into your face in the most unlikely ways, but then they provide a host of "red herrings" to completely confuse you and send you off on the wrong path.  Once the story reaches its conclusion, all you can think is Why didn't I figure that out weeks ago?  lol
    • Does the vault have the original scene and not the short flashback?
    • I appreciate that you are using AI with the knowledge of it's limitations. Some posters take everything it produces as fact.
    • And of course Mama Ru herself appeared on All My Children.
    • The Saturday 8pm slot usually had the lowest rating of the NBC 4 sitcom lineup for some reason. NBC let Saturday night fizzle, They used 9.30 pm to launch 227 and Amen, both of which moved to earlier in the evening but they  kept Empty Nest following GG for several seasons.  Empty Nest should have moved to 8pm with their strongest new sitcom at 9.30, anticipating that GG would eventually falter. Instead they left them there and stretching the sitcom pool too thinly on other nights. When Grand talk over at 9.30 Thurs maybe Night Court and Wings could have been used on Saturday.
    • @Maxim Great to see your mini-reviews again. There are a number of clips on Youtube of Janice's slow mental breakdown, especially as we go into January 1980. Christine Jones is just superb. She played the hell out of that role. Something which isn't referenced as much later on is how Mitch pushed Janice's doubts and mental instability for his own ends...until suddenly he didn't want to anymore (I guess he caught on with the audience and the show became wary). I don't want to post a bunch of clips, but this one has a very good confrontation between Rachel and Janice.

Please register in order to view this content

This has a good scene around 7 minutes in where you can see Janice struggling internally with her need to identify herself so much by the men around her, all of which helps lead to her crackup.
    • It really made Oscar the Doorman seem like an imbecile.   I think the show's unusual format & subject manner is what makes EON often seem less "dated" and "old-fashioned" than other shows from that time period.  It never attempted to be especially "trendy" or "modern" -- and its film noir style is pretty timeless.
    • Dallas, Dynasty, Knots and Falcon Crest all had good runs but by 85 they had seen better days. I think they were a victim of the format. After several seasons seeing the same characters front and center viewers were bored. What was once fascinating grew predictable. JR, Alexis etc had to be front and center and after a while their schemes and shtick grew repetitive. JR remarrying Sue Ellen, Alexis constantly trying to get he better of Blake etc Unlike daytime, there wasn't the flexibility to bring in other stories and characters and maybe let the likes JR go backburner. That same mentality also invaded daytime with characters like  Sonny and Victor still peddling the same stuff after decades. I guess the same could be said for MSW eg every week Jessica encounters a crime and solves it,but I think viewers come to that format with a different mindset.
