I don't know if we are supposed to connect the dots exactly with EJ/Kristen.  Kristen literally was his adoptive mom for a minute, but I think the actors are just too close in age to reference that and have it make sense.

Jen Lilley would have been gold as Belle!  But I love Jen Lilley for some reason.  It was an obvious jump from her playing Maxie to Belle because of KS.

I don't think you can ever recast Carrie at this point because of Christie Clark.  She's in a KMC/Robin mold to me.  It's truly sad to me because 25 years ago I would believe CC's Carrie would be the lead heroine on the show today if asked.

I also think that Jen would've made a pretty solid Belle but I'm glad that she wound up playing Theresa. I do know that a lot of people have complained that Theresa doesn't really act like somebody who's supposed to be Kim and Shane's daughter, but that's the fault of the writers that never really bothered to explain why she turned out the way she did. I always felt that Theresa should've been portrayed as a flawed heroine who struggles with a lot of massive trauma from her childhood and Jen would've rocked that part and she just doesn't really work as a villain especially since there is no plausible established explanation as to why she's that way.

Furthermore, in case anyone was wondering (which I doubt), imaginary casting discussions are my third least favorite topic of discussion.   In first place would be grandstanding about the politics of actors, followed by discussions about ratings by people who have no understanding of how to calculate variablity beyond chance.

I just think I see it because of the Kirsten Storms connection and she has an actual pulse unlike MM.

And besides now she says she won't do longterm commitments on soaps anyhow.

Mansi jumping right into a contract was suspect to me as well.  There had to be a behind the scenes reason.  Although she may just think Kristina is a more interesting character and I agree with her.

Well, yes, all of the above.  I just wonder if Mansi didn't find Abby boring to play.  Abby isn't a very exciting character.  Miller played the part when she had multiple personalities.

By this do you mean fantasy casting threads? If so, yes, also my least favorite thing. Why? I'm no good at it & I know it so what's the point?
