Alan did hit rock bottom much more than Brenda, for example, who had a pill addiction right around the same time.  He really struggled and declined for a long time.  I do think Alan lost some privileges at the hospital, but I am not sure if it was because his injured hand or the drugs.  I just have a hard time remembering his recovery part of the story.  I am sure there was one, but at the time I thought it was wrapped up quite quickly.  I will say it has been years since I watched that storyline though.

Honestly, you would think the actress that plays Violet would turn Frank off from kids for life lol.

IKR?  For me, it's like whenever I attend church, and I'm forced to listen to some six-year-old named Alexus or Mercedes slaughter some song like "Take Me to the King" or "I Believe I Can Fly."

I think Finn is leaving town. Violet will be raised by Aunt Liz as a member of the Hardy-Webber clan as the Chase family is abolished. Violet, Liz's sons, and Ace will be cousins of each other.

I also think that Jeff Webber will divorce Carloyn and return to Port Charles to be near his grandchildren. It will then be revealed that Jeff is the biological father of Dex Heller.

Jackie Templeton will never appear on this show again. Neither will Monica or Audrey, even though both are still alive in town.

Gregory was around too long. He was boring and dying is the only thing that made him interesting.

Joss was only angry toward Kristina because she was blind about Sonny. Now that her eyes are open Joss will not hate Kristina. I hope that Molly gets to prosecute Sonny.

I believe that when Tabyana Ali's contract ends she will leave the show. At that point Trina will either be recast or the character will exit and be replaced by an adult Emma Drake. Emma Drake will make a big splash on the canvas.

I also believe that Maxie's daughter Georgie will be SORAS'd into a teen the same age as Jake and Danny

Rena Sofer & Wally Kurth still shine with one another as Lois & Ned, even if its just as exes and parents.

Really loving the ned & Lois scenes. This is damn good.

I hate that anytime Liz gets any airtime it’s in support of f.ucking Finn. Who’s the GH vet that people actually care about here?

Tracy needs to order an immediate makeover of the Q mansion. That ugly wallpaper that either Olivia or Monica approved is an eyesore and needs to go immediately.

Okay, I think they might actually be setting up Who Killed Ava now lol.

Which could be a great story! I won't shed a huge amount of tears if Ava goes after over a decade (though I would fake her death, and bring her back for stints at least). But I don't trust Korte or whoever else to write it.

    • Okay I can buy that when Brook Lynn was a teen.  Now she knows the child is a boy one would think she'd be slightly suspicious.  Then again, Gio looks nothing like either of them so maybe not lol.
    • I've been behind & just got caught up & the last 3 days were amazing!
    • Yeah.  The hot, poor bad boy with a chip on his shoulder but with a heart of gold was a common soap trope in the 80s

    • That's been an issue with me... the lack of a cohesive 'Have Not' crowd that has focus other than Leslie/Eva.   I would beef up Jan, Mona, Laura, Joey, and few other male characters.. and not just be out to overthrow the Duprees.. but co-existing and broadening the scope of the show since the show is called Beyond the Gates. I think the set up the show has with everything revolving around the Duprees will become predictable especially if they always win.   It would be like Victor Newman on Y & R for 40+ years.. always winning, hardly ever losing.   With MVJ/Guza.. both trained under that mindset... I fear that will happen.   I've always heard from a performer that is playing a character like Leslie/Dana that you have to find the victim/hurt beneath the surface in order to play a villain/villainess... and I think that's why I enjoy watching her.. because she brings so much more to the part than what the writers put on the page.
    • I figure that was really hard for Dom to do. I completely GET why they wrote it the way they did but I wonder if it was necessary. Meanwhile I have 2 really icky ideas in my head. Drew is going to blame Tracy KNOWING it was not her. Dante is going to blame Lulu.  After that, everyone else is going to be mad at Lois.  Tracy is going to double down on wanting to get rid of Sonny. Sonny's going to be more dug in to stay because he now has a new descendant.
    • I can actually buy Brook Lynn being so self-absorbed and incurious that she never thought to question why her mom and grandma were so attached to Gio.
    • It was overkill and the whole narrative Lois was too nice to the orphan kid when he was little, WHAT? Like Emma said no one thinks Gio is a troublemaker that gets 14-year-old kids drunk for fun. That being said, Lulu figured this Gio thing out in episode, but Brook Lynn never once questioned Lois and Gloria's attachment to a child that was the same age as the baby she gave up?  Ever?
    • Thanks for finding that. I may have been thinking of this blog entry.
