I'm glad you posted. I was confused, and didn't understand what you were posting about.  I had watched the "next week" clip but couldn't hear all the words they were saying so I had paid little attention. But then I read the words of MVJ's tweet, so, curious, I sat down and I watched the end of the B&B episode on paramountplus with closed captioning.
Dialogue referring to gates and going beyond them! Ha!  Cool.

(I posted it back on page 348, but can't hurt to post it again.  The more publicity the better!)

I love that there's so much publicity so often, that it's hard to track what's already been posted on this thread.  So amazing.  Hard to keep up!

This is a great one - the flagship CBS owned and operate affiliate in NYC (WCBS) did this interview with Tamara Tunie and Daphnée Duplaix.

What's interesting is that WCBS is Headquartered out of the CBS Broadcast Center where ATWT was produced out of for years (until it moved to the former AW studios in Jan 2000 where it spent the rest of its time). Tamara makes nods to this being her old stomping ground and acknowledges the wall art which has a pic of Nancy Hughes (Helen Wagner).

I'm getting good vibes about Lauren Buglioli as well! I'm also interested in Ambyr Michelle and Trisha Mann-Grant who seem like two schemers that are going to give me such joy.

I'm not gonna lie, I've also identified some people I'm concerned about but I'm not going to say anything until I see them on the show.

From the Atlanta screening Wed. Feb. 16.
Cast and guests at the screening, all wearing white.
Reposting these clips with something to ponder..
Wondering about why they were cheering at the end of the second clip.

The first clip shows the audience of cast & guests reacting to *that* scene, as the caption says.

The second clip shows the audience standing and cheering at the end, so either something very cool just happened, or perhaps they're cheering at the end of the episode to applaud its entirety.

    • I'm good with the gushing, too. There aren't many soap icons like John Black, and that's important to celebrate and remember. And yes, life does go on for other characters, but as they say, timing is everything. Going sky diving the day before the funeral? And during a week of shows that were so powerful emotionally? No.
    • No. There might have been a slight pause for dramatic effect after his "death," but pretty soon after they showed him in France getting plastic surgery and getting involved with his doctor, then planning with her to bring Christina to France. (She thought he had good reason to do it; she wasn't a bad person or anything). Now that I think of it, there must have been some kind of pause before that, during the 70s, because when Rita was accused of killing a patient when she lived in Texas, part of the backstory was that Roger had been there, too. Not sure exactly when or how long that was.
    • Thank you. She’s disgusting.
    • I've already stated that I don't like Doug being written as this meek and submissive. It was so lame watching him leave her like that. Vanessa can divorce him, but she then needs to get her thot ass into therapy. She's not only having sex with every guy she runs into, but is now having  sex with a skeevy perv on a poker table. I'm going to give the BTG some credit here. For months, many on this board were delighting in the Vanessa/Joey flirting and what they saw as chemistry. I think we're now seeing what the writers always intended -- that Joey is a disgusting POS wannabe mobster.
    • John Black actually was the ultimate good guy soap hero. So I don’t mind the town gushing over him. It’s deserved.
    • Be glad it wasn't a Perry production.

    • The whole town gushing over John Black as if he was a saint is eye rolling.  I guess death really colors people's memories over his many flaws, but I guess that is normal and human nature. I'm still confused as to why Leo hasn't been written out.  The actor stank up two soaps with his sub par acting, what does he have on TPTB's to remain on these soaps.   What's the point of Cat?  I hope the new head-writers figure out her purpose and develop her character. And I much prefer scenes not focusing on John's death because life does go on for the world when someone passes.
