That was so amazing! They didn't hit even one false note. It was completely accurate & true to soaps & also to its own newness & its oh so specially new blackness!

Leslie Charleson included in their brief Notable Deaths in the picture of her standing by the stairwell. NICE!

Looks great! The sets look amazing - I guess filming in Atlanta gives them that luxury. The only thing I hope improves a bit is Karla's physical energy during her freak outs (throwing the cup / swinging the golf club), but I feel that's more of a general direction thing (being afraid of hurting other actors / sets) so that's understandable. It might get a bit better co-ordinated once everyone gets used to it.

27 SETS!!!

I perked up when they said that lol

"Well, because they haven't been told before. Black people go through the same things white people go through. We get betrayed. We betray. We tell secrets. We keep secrets. We love. We hate. That's the kind of mess that I really like to get into." - Michele Val Jean when asked, about Beyond the Gates why it is important, CBS Sunday Morning, 1-19-25

That was a great segment. I am pretty hype for the premiere episode. There is an elevator in the home? That's dope!

I can tell Nicole will be my favorite. Her family looks so gorgeous.

Yes for the AMC/Erica Kane sighting.

This was a lovely segment. Not only was it informative but I love that they took it seriously. It was so nice getting to see more of the actual show as well as the people helping bring the world to life behind the scenes. Looks like a lot of care is being given to this show being successful.

The Sunday Morning segment was amazing. The AMC fanboy always love seeing Erica Kane highlighted whenever its time to talk soaps

Loved seeing the camera move so much during the clips from the actual show and the production value looks great. 27 sets 🤯 the diner being a centerpiece locale is such a great idea too.

I can’t wait to see Karla Mosely raise hell on this show, that one moment where Dani says she’s done being disrespected is so perfectly played.

Seeing so many black faces BTS is just chef’s kiss.

Dynasty's Alexis Carrington Colby Dexter once lived in a penthouse with a private elevator. I've always thought that having an elevator in your own residence reeked of 💰 baby.

That was beautiful, and nice to get that behind the scenes view as well.

Filming in Atlanta was the right move, they would never get these many nice-looking and big sets in LA or NYC.

Watching this segment really warms my heart. I have no doubt this is going to be an amazing show. I loved how many POC's were behind the scenes and veterans from other soaps; the perfect blend IMO.

In 5 weeks we get to see Beyond The Gates 🥳🥳🥳

The richness of history already embedded in that set feels so nice to see. And yes, the segment warmed my heart. 27 sets is incredible!
