While I am sure there will be daytime newcomers, and there should be, it is a good sign that they are hiring actors who know how to work on a soap opera for these lead roles.  Tamara Tunie has such wonderful experience in daytime, primetime, and beyond, it is a truly great hire.  Karla and Daphnee are going to be wonderful as well.

I feel that one of the biggest missteps Passions and Sunset Beach made was hiring models and non-actors for lead roles that took them years to catch on, or not at all.  Really excited for BTG and can't wait for the flood of additional casting news to come in. 

Also, I am guessing that with the election they have pushed back the premiere to February?  Speculation on my part, but that would be the ideal time in my mind, during sweeps month with more eyeballs watching tv and less opportunity for pre-emptions post-inauguration.

I don't mind these changes really, but I seriously hope they stick with casting Marcus and his husband. Please don't let them chicken out on that if they haven't already.

Correct. I inquired about that but they aren't budging on why they aren't saying January anymore. My presumption is election matters pushing it or delaying it, so they are waiting for the results in November first.

My criticism is valid and I don’t know why you’re trying to shut it down because you lighten up in the winter but that’s on you. 
 

And it’s not just skin color, it’s phenotype as well. Let’s think critically here.
