Yeah, Burton’s face looks really harsh there. He didn’t look quite as rough on GH. The lighting on DAYS might not be as forgiving or his appearance changed in his brief time away from soaps. In any case, a woman would never get away with looking like that, of course. No matter how banging their body is.

I'm 99% certain GH uses a beauty filter. Everyone looks a touch too smooth.

Steve Burton's looking very Freddy Krueger-ish.

He got so old in the last few years since COVID! Real fast. Kelly Monaco too.

I think it's due to cameras; General Hospital uses 4K cameras but non-4K lights (lighting has changed in the past year or so). Days of Our Lives has used 4K lighting since 2015 (when it went green), but never used 4K cameras (and I still don't think they do). Could the former be using a filter, as well? Potentially, especially since some of the tweets show different quality than what airs (TV vs. Hulu vs. online). The show is three different visuals, haha.

The amount of sun damage to his skin is troublesome.

GH definitely uses a filter, I'd say in post-production. It looks ridiculous IMO.
