Following news of a misconduct investigation brought against “Days of our Lives” co-executive producer and director Albert Alarr, Lisa Rinna, who famously portrayed Billie Reed on the daytime drama series and spinoff “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem” (Chapter One), took to her Instagram stories to seemingly confirm what sources told Deadline about Alarr’s conduct behind the scenes.

In a since-deleted Instagram story, Rinna said, “Karma is a bitch,” in response to the allegations brought against Alarr. She added, “Well, this took a long time. Let’s see, when’s the last time I went over there and did that week on Peacock I couldn’t believe the work environment. It was disgusting. I was shocked. I let many people know how I felt, Albert included, and they didn’t do a thing until now, it seems.”

In a statement released to Deadline in response to the misconduct investigation brought against Alarr, Corday Productions said, “Corday Productions engaged Sony Pictures Television, which distributes ‘Days of our Lives,’ to conduct an impartial investigation into this matter.” It added, “After a two-month investigation, the independent investigator produced a report with its findings. Based on those findings, Corday Productions has taken a series of actions designed to ensure a safe and respectful work environment.”

There was no official information provided on what actions were taken to “ensure a safe and respectful work environment” for the show’s cast and crew, although sources told Deadline that “Alarr received a written warning and was asked to undergo training. Beyond that, he remained in his co-EP and director roles, sparking outrage among cast and crew aware of the allegations and the investigation.”

Rinna originated the role of Billie Reed on “Days of our Lives” in 1992. She remained with the show until 1995 before taking on roles in primetime, including “Melrose Place.” She reprised the role of Billie again in 2002-2003 and 2012-2013. She again returned to the series for a select number of episodes in 2018, and in 2021 played the character on the five-episode limited series spin-off, which aired exclusively on Peacock. “Days of our Lives” would eventually become a Peacock exclusive series as of September 2022.

For eight seasons, Rinna starred on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” She announced her exit from the series earlier this year.

    • I'm all in for another Gio performance. I assume his violin work was pre-recorded, but not only didn't I mind, he made it look live. Plus, wardrobe did him a solid -- he looked commanding and sexy -- and those moves around the stage were fire. If I sound like I'm in love with GM, you heard me right hehe
    • -- I was in my SUV and decided to listen to B&B today (I pulled my DVR downloads up on my phone) instead of watching it.     The dialogue is even worse when you go audio only. -- Hearing Brooke tell Ridge (in front of Katie) that he's her destiny makes her sound like a frickin lunatic. I mean, this is someone who should be put in a straitjacket. Of course, Katie agreed, and when Brooke left the room, she told Ridge that he and Katie belong together and always will. These people are certifiable. -- Liam's dialogue? Absolutely nothing special about it, which makes Scott Clifton's "performance" of those lines even worse. He delivers every line as if it's THE most important line in the Best Picture Oscar winner. Just awful.
    • Not a clue whatsoever. I’m not even sure if Patrick Mulcahey knew lol  Hopefully, we’ll see him do another one

    • I felt the same way. Joss is insufferable -- self-righteous, sanctimonious, and entitled. I wanted Willow to knock her out. Do these writers know they're creating sympathy for Willow and Drew when they use characters we actively hate to answer them? The Gio performance was THE hottest violin performance I have ever seen. Great song choice with sexy, spectacular moves. I mean, WOW. That was soooo good. -- The "Holiday" performance with the medical workers all in scrubs was cheesy, but good. It was just professional enough to pass but not so good it looked like everyone was a hired dancer. And Isaiah can get it any time. -- Spinelli doing "These Boots are Made for Walking" was cringe. The excuse that he subbed for Tracy wasn't enough to make that watchable. Yes, he can carry a tune, but he's no singer and has no idea how to make lyrics work. In addition, his moves were like someone who never moved before. Hate to be a downer on this, but he was awful.
    • Looks like Thursday May 15 through Wed. May 21 (episodes 53-57) are all one "Fairmont day".  Still the same day as debut of nuTed.  Today Wednesday ends with everyone going to sleep, so I assume tomorrow Thurs. May 22 will be a new day.
    •   Thanks! so maybe blonde or maybe reddish-blonde, but hard to tell.
    • God, I wish Willow had punched that little whore right in the face. I get that GH wants to hate Drew and Willow but constantly trotting out the worst characters on the damn show to shame them doesn’t work and it never will. It just makes me want to do the exact opposite.  Luckily, Gio’s performance was immediately after that, and just as I expected, he killed it. He’s so talented and he had some really nice moves. And he looked good too
