Well, you could have replaced her predecessor, Crystal Hunt, with Helen Gallagher and it would have been fabulous, lol.

I thought Emme Rylan was going to be a lot better than she was lol.   She certainly had a little more spunk in her previous roles.  

I can see why people would want Marci Miller in the role, but she is someone who really fades into the background to me in all scenes.  And if TC ever came back as Nik I would be forced to remember the creepy Stefan/Abby/Gabby relationship from Days.

Exactly. Rylan had what it took to take on the role of Lulu... but the writing was never there during her time.

For me, Miller has a spark that the role needs, especially having seen her in some of her film work. I can see why people may have... reservations, and I appreciate them. And yes, the Stefan/Gabby relationship was really piss-poor. But I would like to have a glimmer of hope that we could get a Jane Elliot/Wally Kurth-type of situation with them. However, I also do not see Tyler Christopher returning, unfortunately.

I have never seen MM in anything other than Days, so that's fair.  I vastly prefer Mansi as Abby, but they could do a cute little scene together when Kate takes over as Kristina.

Yes, they could! Have Kristina & Lulu ever crossed paths before? I mean, especially when Carly was married to Sonny and when Ethan was actively on-canvas?

I can't remember any scenes specifically with them, but I think there may have been a few negative ones when Kristina falsely accused Ethan of beating her or when Dante/Lulu made Michael confess for killing Claudia.  Lulu was married to her brother, so I am sure they did share scenes I just can't recall anything concrete about their relationship so I suppose you could make it what you want.   I suspect Mansi's Kristina will reboot the character a bit, so we will see where that goes.  At this point does Kristina even have friends outside her immediately family on this show?

Nope; she seems to work intermittently at Charlie's Pub, and I hope that Mansi's Kristina ditches the Pub and does something more worthwhile with her time.

Wasn't Kristina thinking of starting her own restaurant and Sonny shot the idea down?  I remember watching those scenes recently thinking they were so odd.  I always thought it was strange neither Sonny nor Alexis pressured Kristina to finish her education or pursue a different career.  They just are fine with her being a bar manager, which would be okay if they used Kristina more as a talk to at the bar, but the show doesn't.

I vaguely remember that. I'd be open to her opening her own restaurant, especially after her pop-up coffee place with Aaron all-but disappeared after a season. Maybe explore Kristina as a chef, maybe? I feel like the cooking profession is never explored in daytime. But I also want Kristina with a significant edge. Not as moody as Lindsay Morgan's Kristina, but with more of a potentially nefarious purpose! Hell, Kristina vs. Michael would be good.

I am not sure the town needs another restaurant and I don't know how exciting watching Kristina become a chef is.  The idea that's been bandied around a lot here is to involve Kristina more in the mob and make her Sonny's heir apparent which might be interesting.  That would definitely be a catalyst for Kristina vs. Michael.

I'd be here for it. Mob Princess but in real-life. And we know Mansi would do wonders with the material!

Kristina has been a loser. She hasn't had a love interest in years and doesn't speak to anyone that she isn't related to. She has no friends. 

I guess giving Kristina a profession that ties into the hospital (on a show called GENERAL HOSPITAL) is out of the question.

It will be interesting with Kate taking over Kristina and the temp Molly starting the same day May 22
