Jacqueline Grace Lopez, Blaze, General Hospital

With Chase successful at his reinstatement hearing, wherein he’s back to active duty as a detective working for the PCPD, Jacqueline Grace Lopez has wrapped her six-month arc as Blaze on “General Hospital.” The character was involved in the music storyline, working alongside Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton).

In a post on Instagram, published Monday, April 17, Lopez shared a lengthy message to followers, thanking them for their support and her being “grateful for the friends I’ve made, the amount I’ve grown as an actress, and for the fans who’ve reached out with such warmth.”

“I remember feeling a little overwhelmed walking off set this day. Who knew a role that started last October would change my life in so many ways? I am eternally grateful for the friends I’ve made, the amount I’ve grown as an actress, and for the fans who’ve reached out with such warmth,” Lopez shares. “Special thanks to my main crew Josh, Dan, and Amanda, who took me in without question and made me feel welcome from day one.”

She adds, “This amazing tv family works so hard to deliver the best in daytime drama. I’m so honored to have been a little part of it. To everyone in front and behind the camera, thank you for your kindness and inspiration. I have learned and gained so much (even my cutie Nurses Ball dress!). Even the dead come back in soaps, so for now I’ll say, “See you around.” Happy 60th GH. Thank you for letting me be a part of the magic.”

In addition to her stint on “GH,” Lopez has appeared in such shows as “East Los High” and more recently “True Lies” where she recurs as Eva. She starred in the pilot “Jane the Novela,” a spinoff of “Jane the Virgin” that had been in development at The CW. In 2015, Lopez voiced the role of Rosalind Orman in the video game “Fallout 4.”
