We knew that the Beyond Salem 2 storyline would continue on the main show, probably starting in March.

Now it seems that it might start a week earlier, because one of the main BS2 characters begins appearing on the main show Friday Feb. 24.

Just a suggestion...  if  anyone who hasn't watched Beyond Salem 2 yet, you could find it and watch it on Peacock.  It's only five episodes.  If you watch it now, you'll be caught up when they start continuing its storyline.

I have to keep reminding myself of the difference between Harris Michaels and Alan Harris.

Harris Michaels, played by Steve Burton
July 21, 1988 - Nov. 3, 1988 (13 episodes).
During high school, Harris Michaels made a bet with his friends to see who could score with Eve Donovan first. After numerous dates, he began to develop genuine feelings for her but when Eve discovered the bet, she attempted to kill herself with sleeping pills. Horrified, Harris tried to apologize and make up for what he’d caused, but Eve never forgave him.
July 2022: He resurfaced on Beyond Salem Two with Hope and Megan.

Because his 1988 arc with Eve was only 13 episodes in high school, I guess they figured they could write him in any storyline for Beyond Salem.

Alan Harris, played by Paul Kersey
Sept, 14, 1993 - Feb. 7, 1995 (108 episodes)
Alan tried to rape Carrie, and he did rape Sami.
Sami shot him, aiming in a hurry, and the bullet happened to hit him in the crotch.
Last known whereabouts was a prison hospital.

What a boring Valentine's episode.

Stephanie and Chad were ok.

EJ and only a towel was yummy.

The rest of the show was zzzzzzzzzz.

Like a soap columnist wrote...Days has no heart. This soap is so empty inside.

I cannot figure out what Stefan is up to, trying to drug EJ. I must've missed something.

Now, with Alex being right smack dab in the middle of breaking up Challie, if anything he is less sympathetic! And, I feel like they had him & Allie actually have drunk sex because they wanted to rush that break-up with Lindsay leaving. Had to have her betray Chanel. And, rush it they did! I have the dialog of all of Challie in text if anyone wants it. I  join many Challie fans in feeling they did not give the couple a fair shake. Apparently Feb. is gonna be short on diversity characters, with March giving us some new or returning ones.

This morning I was glad to see some people we haven't seen in a bit. Brady, Eric, Nicole, I hate them schlepping Thomas & Charlotte out to prop up Stephanie. Oh, and Jada, we hadn't seen her in more than a week. I think Feb. 3rd was the last Salem Angels sighting, which makes tomorrow Day 8, so I guess we might go to White Space then.

Carolyn Culliton was the Script of the Day yesterday & I thought she gave us great dialog for Allie, Chanel & Jennifer Rose. Nothing so exalted as all that today.

I admit I laughed at the end when Stefan called Gabi Chloe

I loved the little family bonding moment between Chad, Stephanie and the kids too.

Plus, are they going to attempt some kind of Li/Sloan pairing or FWB thing with them?

    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
