Webmaster Errol Posted October 6, 2022 Webmaster Share Posted October 6, 2022 Inspired by the classic hit series “The Love Boat,” CBS has created a reality-infused iteration entitled “The Real Love Boat,” which premieres Wednesday, October 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The show follows a group of singles as they cruise the Mediterranean in luxury courtesy of Princess Cruises. Like the original series, there’s the crew, including the “captain” (Paolo Arrigo) and a “cruise director” (Matt Mitcham) who will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation process as contestants sail in the waters ahead. The series is hosted by real-life married couple Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell. Ahead of the show’s launch, stars from “The Young and the Restless” sat down to share dating advice. Here’s what some of them had to say. Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor): “Just be a gentleman. Everyone loves a gentleman. Be nice. Do the right thing.” Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland): “Don’t ignore red flags. Be on the lookout for those guys; they’re everywhere. Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson): “Be content with yourself. Be content with being alone so that anyone that you add to your life is a supplement and adds value but does not make your life.” Micheal Mealor (Kyle Abbott): “You need a good pickup line. You need a good sense of humor, and you need to put down the phone.” Cait Fairbanks (Tessa Porter): “Just be around someone you really enjoy. That’s the most important part about being in a relationship, is being with someone that you have fun with.” Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin): “Don’t say a word ’cause you can tank it. Just stand there and look mysterious … in your speedo. Kind of with a lot of lotion.” Allison Lanier (Summer Newman): “The first thing that came to mind was be yourself [laughs], but really, just be yourself [laughs again]. Rory Gibson (Noah Newman): “Be mysterious. Kind of… not reserved, but quiet. Keep some mystery alive. It keeps the attention flowing, and listen.” Kelsey Wang (Allie Nguyen): “Be able to communicate with each other and be really direct if you guys have a conflict, being able to talk it out and also having faith in your partner.” Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings): “Be wary of anyone who is trying too hard [eye curls].” Tracey Bergman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin): “Don’t do anything I’ve done. I hate pick up lines although a few years back a guy used one on me plus more and I did like it...lol Being mysterious? Really Rory??
