I am also cracking up at the multiple posts citing the entire cast of B&B.

For me, it’s mostly Liam, who doesn’t even bother me as much as he used to. He isn’t helped by SC’s Van Wilder meets Chandler Bing acting choices. To me, that’s what really makes him annoying/insufferable, not even his character flaws.

What annoys me the most about characters on B&B (Ridge, Brooke, and Steffy are probably the most guilty) is the holier than thou hypocrisy and the utter lack of respect when speaking to people about their close relatives. That is just so foreign from the way I was raised, I could not imagine saying such things about a person’s parent to their face without being fully prepared to receive a punch or a slap.

Zende is a total cornball but I can put up with him. Zoe, I could not STAND. The actress is 180 degrees more likeable on Fantasy Island.

On DOOL, hands down, Alex. I don’t know whose idea it was to have him always chewing, slurping, biting down on everything from nuts and ice cream to his glasses and his own fingers, but he drives me up the wall.

Leo is annoying but that’s thanks to his lame dialogue which is not (in my best Victoria Lord) a’tall clever or cute. And I wanna know who on the writing staff has a crush (or worse) on GR, because when Gwen was describing his “perfect bubble ass” I did a Bea Arthur slow burn towards the imaginary camera.

SH’s Kristen, I’m just sick of the tiresome Teflon treatment. Either send her away for a good long while, or ease up on her always committing some unforgivable crime.

Jamey Giddens is writing Leo's dialogue. He brags about it constantly on Twitter. The dialogue isn't funny at all.

Days-Susan-she isn't on a lot, but I can't stand her.  I could barely tolerate her in the ED days, but I want to change my channel (or turn off Peacock lol) every time I hear her grating voice.

Sarah is probably the second most annoying character to me.  Everything about the way LG plays her from her baby voice to her quirkiness, her weird, sliding scale of morality with Xander, her time as Renee and as young Sarah-I just can't stand Sarah.

Kristen-I am so over the character.

GH-There are a long list of characters I find completely useless-Cody, Austin, Willow, Brando, Drew, Finn, Nina, etc, but I would say Carly and Michael rank as most insufferable.  There are definitely times and eras where I have liked Carly, but she's been fairly insufferable for years now.  I liked Michael in the early Chad Duell years, but I haven't liked him in at least 7 or 8 years.  I find him so judgmental and obnoxious

    • I'm pretty sure this ep is  from Dec 73 From the Daytime Serial Newsletter Ian and Valerie Northcote are deeply concerned over Laurie's  life being increasingly dominated by hallucinations and fantasies about Georgina, the former owner of the house the Reddins recently bought and are now living in. Doreen Post (Linda Purl) was involved in that story .Perhaps she was going to be revealed as Georgina's daughter? Wonder how that story evolved and whether it was wrapped up before cancellation? and thanks to @skylark

    • Many thanks to @skylark and @DRW50!
    • Thank u so much! I love that show and the more I see of it the more I want to find more of it even if it’s just in script form. But that house and especially the room looked like Victoria Winters room from dark shadows lol  this was great find! Thanks
    • I genuinely thought when they said she had been throwing up, we were going to get a pregnancy story. I’m actually not convinced we aren’t. Especially the way she and Doug danced around her own infidelity.
    • Shouldn't it be the other way? I don't think Taylor Hayes is playing Rebecca Budig.

    • And the most detailed discussion I've seen from an industry figure about some of JFP's worst choices as a producer (steamrolling over writers) was from another woman, Megan McTavish.
    • IMDb is definitely incorrect, because the final week of episodes in 1974 is uploaded to Youtube in audio form, and Mark and Laurie are there until the very end. The last episode shows Mark going back to the priesthood. I looked at the newspaper and the earliest reference to their house being haunted by Georgina is in December of 1973. This is dated Dec 14, but this same synopsis ran in the papers until the end of December in other publications. So it must have been within those last 3-4 months. I think Stephanie Braxton joined around 1969-1970 so that's probably right. I saw it stated in other newspapers that David Gale joined around September 1972.

    • Opal having siblings could add to the story. However, it raises questions about Tad's adoption. Why were the Martins allowed to adopt him if Tad had aunts or uncles who could have cared for him?  Logic limited the number of possible Gardner's (and whatever Opal's maiden name was).  Even though Linda Thorson would have been a hysterical choice given her British accent.  Especially because SOD often published questions by readers who wondered why Tad and Jenny didn't speak like their mother.   All of which is still not an excuse for Tad's evil doppelgänger Ted.
