Speculation: maybe the Marlena/Eric scene wasn't filmed on the same day as the other scenes when the photographer was there. I don't know if the photographer is on set every day or not. AllieDevil releases him from prison in exchange for Evan doing a favor for the devil. Devil Allie had already kidnapped Ben and locked him in the DiMera crypt. Now, when Ciara tries to search for Ben, DevilAllie comes up with a plot to stop Ciara from searching. Wed 4/27 and Thurs 4/28: DevilAllie asks Evan to convince Ciara that he killed Ben. Evan agrees, so Allie breaks him out of prison. Ciara is horrified to discover Evan standing over Ben’s body. (But it's not really Ben's body.
