Thanks! Found it.

Jordi and his wife have begun a new podcast show called "Making it Work" about marriage, life, etc.
The second episode is called "Embracing Change".
https://makingitwork.buzzsprout.com/1938454/10343302-embracing-change
At the 9-minute mark, they start talking about how he was let go from Y&R and his experiences on the show, and how he got hired, etc.  At about 19 minutes, he talks about being let go from his role as Dario on Days of Our Lives.  They say they are close friends with the Days casting director Marnie Saitta.
The podcast is 34 minutes. The first 9 are about marriage stuff, and the remaining 25 are about Y&R and Days.

Nah I feel like it will be something much more mundane like Sharon finding out Rey and Chelsea had a one night stand and Sharon breaks up with Rey in some similar way she did with Scott and Rey leaves town.

Perhaps MCE is out next? I believe her own contract is coming up soon.

Another divorce for Sharon would be ridiculous. I say have Rey killed in the line of duty, and widowed Sharon rebuilds her life in the aftermath. Then she can turn to either Nick or Adam.

I always thought Rey easily should have been a Dylan recast (since Rey essentially filled the same role) but no one has mentioned Dylan at all in years lol and I definitely don’t want Burton hogging up the show ever again.

Nick would be the most logical at the moment.

the show needs some big ish popping, so we will probably have some natural disaster/event and Ray will be one of the casualties... Tessa and Noah will be trapped together and have sex, etc. that kind of thing. I think B&B taking the top spot in ratings has them rethinking a lot of stories and making big moves... I'm also thinking they're gonna kill f Kevin this year, with GR being on DAYS and all why not let the character go? LOL

Listen, I want Nick and Sharon to be the endgame.

But they need a good decade without attempt at rekindling their relationship again.
Give them other things to do. Make us miss them. Nick alternating girl-Sharon-Phyllis-Sharon-girl-Phyllis etc is tiresome at this point.

    • Terrific ideas -- but would Mike and Nancy's great-grandson bear the last name Dallas?  Yuck.  Any way we could make him a Karr?    And in a similar vein, how could Bill and Martha's granddaughter bear the name Marceau?   I love the idea of continuing the Karr, Marceau, Hillyer, and Drake legacies, but if the new characters do not use the familiar last names, the effort to connect them to the past is rather fruitless.  Just my personal observation.
    • And they gave him a whole commercial and everything! Happy to see that star keeps growing.
    • But the REAL question...   ...May Sweeps...OR SLEEPS...???

    • It's doubly a shame because one thing Long excelled at was using backstory to enhance the present story. I think that's one reason why Josh and Reva took off the way they did--the early stuff is really good. (Unfortunately, they ruined it by overusing the characters). Imagine if Roger returned to get involved with Alex, and her brother and ex, who used to be dire enemies, came together to oppose him. Instead, Mike was nowhere to be seen and Alan was written out for years. Yes, casting would have been an issue, but when you think about what they wound up with for 15 years...
    • I've never been so annoyed to be running late. lol   EVERYONE looks so pretty.   Happy to see Andre and Eva interacting, Mona being there, and happy to see Nicole play matchmaker for Dani. Fingers crossed that FOINE doctor from Nicole's last event pops up.   @kalbir Andre looking like a snack in that tux.

      Lmao!!!!
    • Also gotta feel sorry for Mona, realizing today that she’s only known Leslie for a few months; she’s going to blame herself for all of this.
    • The way this show handled Nikolas' shooting Hayden, Austin's murder, the long slow delay to getting rid of Cyrus, etc. we're likely to have it revealed in a year when Nina is 3 weeks away from leaving and has had minimal airtime.
    • Interesting. I love my Roku.  No, I don't know. Who? I mean Disney def does. I would think a number of parties have stocks.
    • Is he still spamming demands that they hire the campy chick from The Haves and Have Nots? Or whichever show it was. I don't think it's an either/or. I happen to think Dana, Dani, Eva, Nicole, Kat, etc. are all great. Certain folks aren't going to be some posters' favorites and that's fair enough. But I would argue most of those characters above (and several others) have caught on with a lot of the online audience. I've even warmed up to Martin!
