RAVEN BOWENS JOINS "DAYS" AS RECAST OF CHANEL...

Raven Bowens has joined the cast of "Days of Our Lives", replacing Precious Way as the new Chanel Dupree. No confirmation yet when the change in actresses will take place, but the best guesstimate is late August/early September, when "Days" started taping its new season. An eagle-eyed fan spotted Bowens in a "Days" dressing room photo.

Precious Way is a lead on a new streaming show with Mc Lyte, so maybe she can't do both Days and that.  Too bad, I liked her.

Ugh. I was hoping this was about Claire.

I was really hoping it was Sarah or Claire. I actually like the current Chanel.

Hoping Ms. Bowens is better, because Ms. Way was not working out for me as Chanel.

I don't get the hate Isabel Durant gets as Claire. I adore her in the role.

The thread's title made me think it would be Marlena. 

I'm nearly a month behind, but I know a bad actress when I see one, and Precious was... not good. 

Why are we sceaming?

The whininess was a little annoying sometimes, but I didn't think she was a bad actress. Chanel really has started to find her footing since she's been out of Xander's orbit.

 

We'll see what happens.

For me she is just extremely bland, generic, and boring. The previous actress had so much more personality, so going from that to ID has been disappointing. It's not that she's bad, she's just... blah.
