Leah Laiman (who did come over with Goutman from AW) was atrocious, so I can't say I blame them for wanting her gone like yesterday. Oddly, I think the small period when FMB was fired and Goutman overlapped with Lorraine Broderick (it was about a month) did show some promise in the summer of 1999. 

As for me, I never have been able to stand either Laiman or Passanante.

I did like Laiman on Days. Her ATWT was a snooze. Never liked Jeannie P. She still has even tweeted about Hogan's passing.

I was just a kid in my early teens. I think she did the Mike/April/Robin triangle. As well as Jack/Patch/Kayla. Harper being the Riverfront Knifer I'm going by memory. So i could be wrong.

No you’re correct. She was head writer from 1986 to 1989. She did all of that and the John is Roman stuff, Orpheus, Roman and Diana, Eve/Jennifer/Frankie, etc.

I don't dislike Jack.  I just cannot deal with overrated Ashford.  When MV took over years ago, I was over the moon.  

This is just odd since I have disliked Laiman so long. Maybe I started disliking her on AW or something, cause it sounds like I liked her on DOOL.

Oh, you like Mark Valley. Oo-kkay. I don't tend to think of Ashford as over-rated. He was good on SFT & then he was good on DOOL.
