Members DRW50 Posted April 15, 2021 Members Share Posted April 15, 2021 Nate Silver always has to say things in the most hyperbolic ways, and back that up again and again from insecurity or need of attention, then he and his fans get very mad when he's called out. There was a great deal of pushback against people who pointed out his lack of expertise - oh, the experts aren't flawless, oh, they don't know how real people react while Nate does. There's no evidence that he knows how anyone outside of his bubble acts. There are so many rich, out of touch people (yes, often white men) on social media who cosplay as "just folks," and use that to evade any actual reckoning for their constant meddling and narcissism.
