Ok, you smart people.  Help me out here.  What kind of leverage do the 4 remaining soaps have to make such a threat?  Why wouldn't the academy just drop the soap category from the Daytime Emmys?

I've said the same thing...why are they even having these categories now.  People and shows racking up awards they never would have been nominated for 10 or 15 years ago.  Some of the people in the categories are laughable.  And Best Writing?  Is there any?? 

I pretty much said that on social media about their complaining and some soap actors didn't like my comments....tuff.....
