Members DRW50 Posted July 7, 2019 Author Members Share Posted July 7, 2019 That's true in some cases (although my favorite shows managed to be strong for at least 4-5 seasons), but for me it is about the chilling effect. If I know a network is going to go after a show two seasons in, no matter what, I'm less likely to watch. And I feel like producers will burn themselves out very quickly if they know they are only likely to get two seasons.
