Sounds good!  So EJ being alive is what sends Sami away from Salem. I wish the actor would have returned for a a few months to wrap up his story with Sami instead of her running off again looking for EJ.

Marlena's actions toward Will make sense, given how she helped John recover (what he thought were) his lost memories as Roman BITD.  Therefore, she has SOME idea what Will must be going through at the moment -- and maybe, she'll be able to convince John to help Will as well.

Other than that...?  This story is pure [!@#$%^&*].

I know. I fully expected to see her again, especially under Ron, so I'm not sure why people are surprised.

I agree but it sounds like she deluded herself and has a mental breakdown after realizing the truth. Kristen must have had someone maniuplate Susan or something.

It's been a bit of a mess. I guess I have lower expectations lately and will take some things and let some other things slide. lol

The Marlena/Will stuff should be good. I've always adored their relationship and the chemistry between Hall and Massey. Marlena's the perfect person to get through to him. Sami and Sonny are scaring Will because they're so emotional and desperate for him to be who he was.

I will also say I think it was smart at the time (though probably not how it was thought of then) to have Will's body be moved from Ben's apartment to Will and Sonny's. It left open an off-screen window of time where they can put in an explanation but I don't know if they have or will. I've missed a few bits here and there (mostly by not paying super close attention when watching ... or getting distracted by something else while watching)

I think Kristen did help with bringing Will back to life. Remember Rolf killed himself....he was afraid of the person that had hired him. I doubt it was Susan but Kristen that hired him to revive Will. Then Susan took over once Will had been revived and became his mother.

Wouldn't it be hoot to find out neither Kristen nor Susan has been involved in any of this?  That, in fact, this has been the work of Penelope Kent and Thomas Banks (disguised as Susan or Kristen)?

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
