CBS is reinvesting in its daytime lineup.

The network is set to bring back its entire slate of daytime series for the 2017-18 season, handing out a three-season renewal to daytime soap The Young and the Restless and a two-season pickup for The Price Is Right.

They join The Bold and the Beautiful, Let's Make a Deal and The Talk, all of which previously earned multi-season renewals, keeping them on the air through 2018.

“CBS Daytime has never been stronger. From 30 consecutive years of being No. 1 in the ratings, to another year as the most honored network at the Daytime Emmys, our lineup of talk, game shows and dramas connects with our audience like no one else,” Angelica McDaniel, CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Distribution exec vp daytime programs and syndicated program development, said Tuesday in a statement. “All of our talent, on screen and behind the scenes, is hard at work making the upcoming season of these award-winning series even bigger and bolder.”

The renewals are no surprise, seeing as CBS has kept its daytime lineup largely intact since launching The Talkin 2010 to go up against The View.

The Young and the Restless, TV's most-watched daytime soap, is averaging 4.93 million viewers.

Meanwhile, The Price Is Right continues to rank as the most-watched daytime show in its 45th season, averaging 4.84 million viewers.

While CBS' daytime slate will remain the same, there will be some change at The Talk. Longtime co-host Aisha Tyler recently tearfully announced she will be departing in August.

That's nice. Now if only SONY wouldn't sleep on the fact they were renewed and would actually retool the show...<_<

That would acquire them not mandating certain stories
