Didn't Lauren say during Christmas time that he was studying to be a doctor like his dad?

I thought she said that Fen was studying to be a lawyer like his dad.

I don't remember, but i prefer that to to be true honestly....it would be nice to see more familiarity to past characters by having them follow in their footsteps...and Not only Scott sr, but Scottys grandfather Jim was a doctor too...

They have an aversion to men under 35 for some reason.

They really do, which sucks b/c the show is called The YOUNG and the Restless. The day that Peter Bergman, Melody Thomas Scott, Sharon Case, Josh Morrow, and Eric Braden leaves this show will be a mess. Outside of them, they can't seem to generate a decent story for anyone else.

Where is Kyle? Nate? Chance? All 3 of those men should be on the show right now leading the pack and leading story.

The only way Joshua Morrow is leaving is if they fire him. He is a no talent actor with below average looks. He will leave the building yelling and screaming when fired.

Y&R hasn't been young since Cricket & Nina were on with Danny and gay Phillip was on pining over Cricket.

@Soapsuds, oh you already know Josh will be the last thing standing at Y&R, but he won't be there forever. His time is limited too. All it takes is for one daring EP to come in there and take his ass out too.

But the last time Y&R was about young kids was the Mac/Bill/Rianna/Brittany/Raul/JT/Lily/Colleen/Daniel group. That was in 2005. It is 2017 now. Twelve years since we've had them lead story. A damn shame.

That's cause they haven't taken the time to figure out who anyone else on the show is. All are interchangeable or under developed.

Exactly. It's probably about 10 round, complex characters on the show and the rest are flat as f-ck.

I'd say that Lily and Chloe (at times) are the only round characters in the under 45 category. The rest are flat or have become flat.

For the last 15 years, Y&R has been too absorbed in trying to make Jack and Victor stay as leading men and they haven't allowed subsequent generations to mature and develop, starving everyone else of storyline.

That's why I said the day they leave, Y&R is in deep sh-t. I've long said that Jack and Victor should've been retired to patriarchal roles while Kyle & Noah resume the Newman/Abbott rivalry. Instead, Kyle is nonexistent and Noah is a 'talk to.' Makes no damn sense.

But this is an issue on all four soaps with it only being an issue to a degree on B&B

I'm down to Y&R now but yeah, this has been an issue for a long time now and it starts in the Writer's Room, it seems, where you may have one or two women and one person of color maybe. How many writers under 45 on average?  Dismal demographics and statistics-no wonder the writing is so unbalanced!

Shouldn't he be older them Mariah, Devon, & Hillary. I'm sure he's older then Noah. This is the character they decided to de-age.

Did you look at the pictures? He is visibly older than them.

I did but they saying once he cut off his beard he should look a lot younger. It seems like Him & Noah going to be the same age.
