It's OK.

Sucks that many of the great all-stars (i.e. Tiffany, Perez, etc.) needs couldn't be met to do the show b/c many of the all-stars are deadweight. I feel like Speidi are the only all-stars deserving to be there.

Can the stop trying to make Calum 'fetch'? He was deadwood the first time he did CBB. He's deadwood now.

Ray J & Stacey are the best out of the newbie pack. Sadly, I don't think either of them will last long if it is up to this pack.

Ugh! Tiffany & Perez would've brought so much to this season. Austin? Jasmine? Nicola? Calum? Colleen? Talk about scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

Tiffany said she would've did it but their dates were not adding up. If I were CBB, I would've waited for the Summer series to do anything with returning players, so Tiffany could've been involved. CBB fans have been asking for her return in droves and still are. She was the shot of energy that this season needed.

I agree. I think that UK is running out of 'celebs' to go in that house. They could find a plethora of them here in the US, but the British audience would revolt. I've already seen many of them complain about this cast having too many Americans.

I think the top 3 all-stars they should've reached out too and cast first were Tiffany, Perez, and vile ass Katie Hopkins. Those 3 alone would've brought a massive audience and provided drama for centuries.

While I complain about BBUS, I think BBUK's model is seriously broken. The twists are flops. The drama is becoming stale. IMO, I think they need to retool BBUK. Nikki [Graehme] already said after her time on BBCAN that BBUK needs to adopt the US/CAN model for awhile. It might freshen this show up some.

The only interesting thing about Calum Best was his jerkoff video.

I don't think anyone would bring big ratings as the show is mostly just filling up the schedule and barely holding on, but I agree it would be nice to see Tiffany again.

That they had to bring in Calum Best's mother too is kind of desperate.

No, there aren't. When you compare the last few seasons with the Stephanie Beacham/Ivana Trump/Vinnie Jones/Heidi Fleiss season in 2010 it's startling how negative and confrontational it got. Some of that has to be on Channel 5, who've gone for sensational, whereas Channel 4 seemed to go for more of a look into the personalities.

That said, it was really the last season with Steven Bear which showed just how badly the show had fallen apart. The same goes for the Farrah Abraham/Janice Dickinson/Jenna Jameson season. It was entertaining, sure, but also very nasty.

The Tiffany/Gemma season was much lighter hearted by comparison.

I just read the intro and first chapter and I'm already hooked. I know she had a co-author, but I can tell Kim is a firecracker and I'd love to have wine with her and talk sh!t haha. It makes reading the book pretty easy and entertaining. Intro - I had no idea she got a DUI! She shared 3 bottles of wine with a friend at dinner one night in LA, got in her car, was pulled over and thrown in jail overnight.  She admitted it wasn't her first time drinking and driving, but learned a valuable lesson that night. Out of the gate, she's not holding back or hiding anything. Chapter 1 - the announcement that GL was being cancelled. She was driving to Peapack and got a call from Bradley Cole who told her the news. First, that's BS that as one of the faces of GL, you hear the big news from a fellow co-star on your way to work. Granted, the "suits" were traveling to Peapack that day to tell the cast and crew, but still, seems icky. Ironically the news came on April Fools Day. Apparently that was the last day the network could decide whether to cancel or renew, but to Kim's point, couldn't they just pick the day before to avoid the callousness of the 'holiday'. Obviously a sad day in GL history. I thought it was funny, she said the one thing she thought of is "what would Susan Lucci do" in this situation, post-cancellation. And of course she said she'd "find something to hawk on the Home Shopping Network"  You all would know better than me, but part of the title of her book is "seven husbands" and in her intro, she uses Reva's full name: Reva Shayne-Lewis-Lewis-Spaulding-Lewis-Winslow-Cooper-Lewis-Lewis-O'Neill.  However, in the first chapter, she said Bradley Cole was "her 8th (or was it 9th?) husband". Well, Kim, that already contradicts the title of your book and your character's name you touted.

    • I was incredibly moved by these scenes, especially Peter's performance. It felt so tender and real, especially when you remember Bo just got out of a years-long coma and wasn't going to be able to put up a front. You're reminded of how long these legends have populated the show when you have a 70 year old man grieving men who were almost 90 or 100, but Bo's response to Victor's death was a poignant reminder of how fresh these wounds are no matter your age. Normally these types of moments don't even make it in soap episodes in recent decades as they are seen as too boring. The more somber moments being balanced by Bo meeting his grandchildren was also lovely.  And the scene where Bo forgave Shawn may be the only time I've been in lock with Brandon Beemer's take on the part.  There's a certain element of suffocation with soaps, as shown here, when you remember so many of the kids are named after long dead relatives, or when they grew up, were paired with the kids of other longtime characters. That aspect always makes me yearn for new blood (new blood that doesn't suck, anyway), but there are other moments, like those with Bo, which make me appreciate all the history the show has.
    • A funny scene, Roger and Sonni go out to eat, at that place that had a colonial theme (I love when soaps have very specific places to eat..I hated the diners on GL, ATWT and AW) and this is just after Rog came back and Sonni hit the headlines and the waitress scremes.."Oh, Roger Thorpe, and YOUR...please dont' hurt me..." and they are all like, "Hey, were just hungry!" (most soaps now have someone go on a murder spree and the rest of the cast and extras look like they havent heard about it."
