They're basically begging Richard Dean Anderson to come back (why the f uck this wasn't done from the very beginning, I do not know) by making it public that they'd like to have him on the show and are trying to get him to do it. Meanwhile, there's still this: Oh, but I see this is scheduled for Fridays. Nevermind, they seem to not have much faith in it anyway. It was the best performance by a Friday scripted series since “Hawaii Five-0” put up a 1.8 in January 2014. MacGyver was the #1 show in HH, demos and total viewers for the night. It's a safe bet it will be on CBS for the next 20 yrs. Prime example NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles and NCIS New Orleans.
