Yaaass! So glad that Loveita won HoH. I hope she uses the power accordingly.

I like Sharry too, @KMan101. I think that she and Loveita might be the female comp beasts this season. I hope they align together.

I want Maddy to go. I don't mind Cassandra going as she's weak and she reminds me of Victoria (BB15). She's the perfect 1st boot.

Yeah but I don't want another Victoria character getting dragged to the end. Get rid of her ass now. She's a waste of space and oxygen.

I do have to say that I LOVE the twist with the brothers. Yeah, it is f-cked up, but I like how Big Brother put all the houseguests on an even playing field. The brothers, though they have to play as one, have two brains and four sets of ears meaning where one slacks the other can pick up on. The rest of the house got an advantage in knowing they are brothers. The boys just have to ensure their safety the entire game and the house just has to get rid of them. But hell, they don't even have to get rid of them as they have to remain that way for the remainder of the game and split the money ... unless Big Brother does a twist where they become individuals. I hope they don't. This is the twist they should've done with Liz/Julia last season. I don't think the game would've went to sh-t quickly had they did this. Julia, the more reasonable twin, would've kept the likes of Jason and Da'Vonne as she liked them and wouldn't've sunk their games like Liz (and Austin) did.

So I went and saw the first 2 episodes. LOVE that they put in two black girls, but of course the quota was filled so we got no black guys. Oh well. loving Loveita and Sharry so far and love that they are sticking together

Poor Paige. Pawns always go home and she saw it

Jared...all i see is an Emmett clone

Maddi or however her name is spelled is such a hater. Not feeling her

I dont like that the brothers are joined at the hip. Usually this is done with twins but they arent the first connected housemates to play the game and they typically aren't forced to play as a pair.

As far as the twist, how is it a twist if the audience not only knows but you tell the house in the first episode and its executed in the second? As for the contestents, Italian girl is the olny one i dont know. Jase...they overhyped him. BB icon....since when? He hasnt even remained relevant in the BB world as CBS never brings him back for interviews and segments like they do Jesse and Jeff. He looks terrible with long hair too.

Glad my girl Nikki got in! She' my favorite BBUK housemate ever. With the way the game is played different though, I see the house getting tired of her antics and she leaving early on.  Hopefully they just view her as a weak annoyance and let her skate on through bc she sucks as challenges and mentally, isnt strategic. Without the public's support, she really doesnt have power so isnt a threat. For people to go after her would be bc they are scared to make a big move

Tim though? TIM? He is the most annoying housemate ever from AUS and i hate seeing him get a chance to be on tv again on somethnig I watch

ETA:

Why am I more up to date with the posting than you guys? LMAO

Saw episode 3 and of course the two black girls are nominated with one likely to leave! I cant even be mad at Jarrod bc his reason was justified and I cant say Id do differently. Loveita shouldnt have been so forward and honest so early on. She should have BS'd to that girl who's name escapes me in case she stayed, which she did

The nerd boy is in his 30s and a virgin...why is he saying its bc he is saving himself instead of he cant get a girl?

    • I know this board has very strong opinions about Scheffer's reign which run the gamut from brilliant to the nadir of the series.  I'm one of the fans. 2001 - 2005 are, imo, the second best years for the series. The first being Marland.  As The World Turns won Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Drama Series in '87 and '91. However, it wasn't until Scheffer came along that it won again...in '01 and '03. Plus it won for Best Writing Team in '01, '02, '04, and '05, an award it had never managed to win before and didn't again. When Scheffer left and Passanante was the main head writer (along with various other co-head writers) the show began to seriously tank. However, it wasn't just the writing. The budget was gone. The sets were made to be smaller or destroyed. There was all that weird hand held camera directing for a while. Scenes that were obviously shot in the hallway where the series was filmed. I think '06 - '10 is a roller coaster. There are some storylines I really enjoyed and some that were eye-rolling. Looking in the rearview mirror though, I can see that the actors, writers, directors, and crew were working their best with what money they had.
    • They are idiots! It seems crazy that Leslie is inserting herself so much into this investigation but everybody is falling into her traps. I find it to be an interesting back and forth and I'm still not completely sure who will win. I have a theory but I'm going to wait for more to develop before I say more. I feel like Haley has been more on the sidelines so I'm enjoying this new desperate streak she appears to be developing. I'm curious how it'll manifest overtime. I also agree with Dani that I am not convinced she's pregnant. I think she's trying to get pregnant but really just see's herself fading into the background and wants attention and validation from Dani and her family.
    • Thanks for sharing; the set, wow. Ten times better than the "penthouse" she lives in now (is that a surprise, though?).
    • I'd be happy to!

I just read the intro and first chapter and I'm already hooked. I know she had a co-author, but I can tell Kim is a firecracker and I'd love to have wine with her and talk sh!t haha. It makes reading the book pretty easy and entertaining. Intro - I had no idea she got a DUI! She shared 3 bottles of wine with a friend at dinner one night in LA, got in her car, was pulled over and thrown in jail overnight.  She admitted it wasn't her first time drinking and driving, but learned a valuable lesson that night. Out of the gate, she's not holding back or hiding anything. Chapter 1 - the announcement that GL was being cancelled. She was driving to Peapack and got a call from Bradley Cole who told her the news. First, that's BS that as one of the faces of GL, you hear the big news from a fellow co-star on your way to work. Granted, the "suits" were traveling to Peapack that day to tell the cast and crew, but still, seems icky. Ironically the news came on April Fools Day. Apparently that was the last day the network could decide whether to cancel or renew, but to Kim's point, couldn't they just pick the day before to avoid the callousness of the 'holiday'. Obviously a sad day in GL history. I thought it was funny, she said the one thing she thought of is "what would Susan Lucci do" in this situation, post-cancellation. And of course she said she'd "find something to hawk on the Home Shopping Network"  You all would know better than me, but part of the title of her book is "seven husbands" and in her intro, she uses Reva's full name: Reva Shayne-Lewis-Lewis-Spaulding-Lewis-Winslow-Cooper-Lewis-Lewis-O'Neill.  However, in the first chapter, she said Bradley Cole was "her 8th (or was it 9th?) husband". Well, Kim, that already contradicts the title of your book and your character's name you touted.
    • He also was following Holly May 22, 2025 per update (link to post) from @JAS0N47
    • I was incredibly moved by these scenes, especially Peter's performance. It felt so tender and real, especially when you remember Bo just got out of a years-long coma and wasn't going to be able to put up a front. You're reminded of how long these legends have populated the show when you have a 70 year old man grieving men who were almost 90 or 100, but Bo's response to Victor's death was a poignant reminder of how fresh these wounds are no matter your age. Normally these types of moments don't even make it in soap episodes in recent decades as they are seen as too boring. The more somber moments being balanced by Bo meeting his grandchildren was also lovely.  And the scene where Bo forgave Shawn may be the only time I've been in lock with Brandon Beemer's take on the part.  There's a certain element of suffocation with soaps, as shown here, when you remember so many of the kids are named after long dead relatives, or when they grew up, were paired with the kids of other longtime characters. That aspect always makes me yearn for new blood (new blood that doesn't suck, anyway), but there are other moments, like those with Bo, which make me appreciate all the history the show has.
    • A funny scene, Roger and Sonni go out to eat, at that place that had a colonial theme (I love when soaps have very specific places to eat..I hated the diners on GL, ATWT and AW) and this is just after Rog came back and Sonni hit the headlines and the waitress scremes.."Oh, Roger Thorpe, and YOUR...please dont' hurt me..." and they are all like, "Hey, were just hungry!" (most soaps now have someone go on a murder spree and the rest of the cast and extras look like they havent heard about it."
