Say what you will about the man but he's very sharp about all sorts of bullshit he's had to deal with in his stories, but in a deft and polite way, particularly re: the resurrection of Jake and the hyperactive editing. And he said this re: his recent scene with Leslie Charleson: That is mom, and that was a real scene. Being from the south, which I am, and walking into somebody’s home and talking to their mother, that is exactly how you would address them as we did in that scene. It was like a mother and son scene, which was why it was ironic, fun, and a really cool scene. We didn’t have to shoot anybody. We didn’t have to pull a microchip out of our heads, and we didn’t have to play up to plot. We were allowed to play two people sitting on a couch talking. It is the best scene that I have had on GH thus far. Also, please fix the spacing issues on this board before I kill myself. Edited August 22, 201510 yr by Vee
August 22, 201510 yr Member I like Billy Miller, always have. He's also right about the Monica/Jason scene being his best.
August 22, 201510 yr Member I couldn't get past the part where he seemed shocked that fans thought he'd have chemistry with Kelly Monaco...well that and the whole bit about how they're all his "little women" because they're short. Hee hee.
August 22, 201510 yr Member This was a pretty good interview, and a good look at how he approaches the show and his coworkers and his work. I come away much more impressed with him. And I kind of wish they let some of what he talked about come through with Jason.
August 23, 201510 yr Member When will Michael Fairman get rid of that annoying black background. I really can't read any of the stuff on his site because of it. Doesn't he himself get a headache from it?
