Unfortunately, I won't be able to join ya'll for "Empire" tonight, at least not the live viewing. Currently working remotely on stories for the site (interviews, articles, etc). I'll add my thoughts to tonight's eppy when I get home later.

As she ages, Raven looks more and more like Debbie Allen and Jasmine Guy.

I don't have an issue with the Malcolm falling for Cookie shorthand. A woman you find attractive throws her legs open and offers you her Cookies, you fall in seconds, not days.

WOW. Andre was diagnosed years ago when he was in college but instead of getting him help, Lucifer covered it up

I can't wait to see what this show is like once it's written with the confidence of success because the ideas are sometimes brilliant but the execution is lacking. There are no transitions and it really bothers me. Things happen at an absurd clip.
