I think she just needs to wake up and pretend to be a changed person and act nice for awhile and begin plotting behind peoples back, once she gains everyones trust. I thought she was a card board cut type of character with no likeable quailites. When she was raped I felt no sympathy for her at all, I actually thought it was her karma for all the pain and suffering she enjoyed inflicting on people. She wasn't a character I loved to hate, I just plain hated her and thought she was a useless waste of airtime but Heather Lindell changed that. She did the impossible and made me like Jan. Even though Jan was still completely evil, she was fun to watch and I wanted her to win over Belle. I was so disappointed when she was written off the show.
