B&B second-highest rated soap debut despite being head-to-head with the second halves of All My Children and supercouple Days.

Card Sharks CBS's highest-rated game show debut. Allegedly Mark Goodson demanded CBS give Card Sharks the lead in to The Price is Right otherwise he’d take both shows to another network.

Wordplay; Win, Lose, or Draw; Classic Concentration, Bargain Hunters all premiered post-Oprah, so clearances were going to be an issue. It will be interesting to see how clearances dropped post-Oprah on network game shows not named The Price is Right. Two key dates: Oprah went national September 8, 1986. CBS returned 4 pm ET to affiliates on September 29, 1986 and they were the last network to do so.
