Wes Kenney was on Y&R from at least Jan 1982. We have the Feb 1st episode and he's there already. 

I still can't believe CBS let SFT go for awful Capital.

@Soapsuds Capitol was a time filler/placeholder until Bill Bell had a second show ready.

All the time frames are at a different point in the prep period:

1980-1981 is fully posted.

1982 is fully done and ready to post.

1983-1985 charts need to be sorted & cropped.

1986 is being typed up, with 1987 to type up next.

So, all in all, things are moving along smoothly with the ratings!

I'm excited to see the rest of those years!!  I think 1986 is another year we kind of weren't sure with Y&R preemptions for January, so it will be great to see.

Capitol first week pretty much inheriting Search for Tomorrow CBS audience.

P&G probably realized early on what a mistake it was angering CBS to the point that they dropped Search for Tomorrow since the move to NBC turned out to be an epic failure.

It's so funny that Search for Tomorrow NBC run would end three months before Capitol ended.

I just looked at the January 1986 charts. YR preempted twice that month:

Is it definitely Jan 27??? As I thought it was Jan 28 for the Challenger explosion. That's interesting if it was Jan 27
