 Personal and Confidential, was a magazine style show which was described as "Cosmopolitan, Vogue and People [magazines] and Entertainment Tonight all rolled up into one."

NBC gave it a one week tryout in August 83 in the 3pm slot. And it was never heard of again.

It was either TOO personal and TOO confidential, or it wasn't personal or confidential enough.

Or perhaps it was TOO personal but not confidential enough.

Or TOO confidential, but not personal enough.

Nice way to find out the USA Today archives are now fully available! Must have just been added, because I never saw them in search results before. Brings back memories of cutting out the weekly ratings chart each week in the 1990's!

As the complete history of daytime TV specials continues to be documented in this thread, now posting are the episode titles & main cast data for the recurring 1980's daytime specials series.

Yes, we'll have through 1995. I'll be posting the rest of the extended data first for the 1980's (CBS Schoolbreak Specials, NBC Special Treat, etc...)
