Soap Opera DIGEST: I got it EARLY! Days 2014 Previews!

These spoilers will be RE-WORDED but they are accurate.

EJAMI aka Sami and E.J.: E.J. as always is trying to protect Sami, but he could wind up doing something that will destroy his entire world.

Eric/Nicole/Daniel: 50 SHADES of The Thorn Birds?

Yes, Eric FINALLY ditches his collar and gives up the priesthood!

Nicole and Eric's relationship can finally happen as Eric finally admits his feelings for Nicole!

It's a soap so Eric and Nicole can't be happy, happy, happy.

Eric will leave Salem and take a journey to sort his life out.

Nicole and Daniel will team up for a dangerous mission.

Hope: Bo's out of the picture. Ciara's acting out and gets in trouble at School.

Will Hope find new love? It sure LOOKS that way.

Kristian/Hope is still an asset to Days and she needs to move on.

Sonny/Nu Will: Sonny and Will take a MAJOR step in their relationship.

Days is still a major fan of this story and wants it to continue to grow as the show goes on.

Arianna's Baptism: It has an UNEXPECTED ENDING! A REAL SHOCKER! MUST SEE TV! Can't be missed!

Kate/Jordan: Kate tracks down someone from Jordan's past and brings them to Salem.

JJ/Theresa: JJ wants to get even with her.

Theresa doesn't want JJ as a boyfriend she feels he is beneath her.

JJ can't stand Theresa and is sick and tired of her cr@p.

Ken Corday thinks JJ and Theresa are good together.

It is always my hope to have Peter back on the show someday, but until that day arrives this is correct. Gotta do something to give Kristian a decent story. I wonder, though... why is LOOKS capitalized? Is there something about that we should know...

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
