How could Jesse run for mayor?? He had to resign as COP because HE BROKE THE LAW. What kind of town would elect someone that does that?

Most soap towns... But yeah, I agree with you--I just couldn't be bothered replying to Linda again :P

On GH, Scott Baldwin is running for DA in Port Charles - again - after he embezzled from the city and disappeared into the night as a fugitive.

Still, Jesse as the mayor is almost as ridiculous as that.

If we're going to be ridiculous let's just have a three way race between Jesse, David and JR. Jesse can get caught in a drunk driving scandal, David could get nailed with a scandal where it comes out that he conducted medical experiments on inmates in Statesville and JR could get busted sexing dick pics to students at Bramwell then no matter who wins, have the election invalidated by the governor of PA and have him name Liza as the town's emergency manager. laugh.png

Honestly, I see Jesse ending up as the head of security at Zach's casino. That's my official guess for what's going to happen to him.

I still think it's bullshit that Zach just shrugged off Jesse framing his ass and might give him a job.

Judging by the promo for next week I would love to see Jesse become the drunk security dude at the casino. The problem is, that "casino" on ABC was the most low-rent [!@#$%^&*] shithole I have ever seen. All I remember is one big room, a concierge like they were at the Holiday Inn, some green shag rug and maybe some craps. The motel rooms in Center City looked better than that place. It looked nothing like a casino. It looked like Zach was running a fuckin' Golden Corral. So if TOLN wants to bring that [!@#$%^&*] back they better spruce it the [!@#$%^&*] up.

When are Jesse and Zach going to consummate that burning hot chemistry they have?!

It's like Roger Collins and Burke Devlin all over again!

Rewatched the gala ep to psych myself up for this week (and really because it was the only way I could motivate myself to do another 25 min on the elliptical). Had one thought that I missed on first watch- Evelyn is now encouraging Celia to bid on Pete & telling her the guardian would approve. But everything we've seen up to this has been Evelyn discouraging a Pete/Celia romance & saying her guardian would be opposed to her having a boyfriend. I know the spoilers of scenes that ended up not airing that have been in the mags help shed light on this. But am I forgetting something- was there anything onscreen that explains Evelyn's turnaround?

Both Opal and Evelyn have done a couple turnarounds on Celia and Pete at times. I figured Evelyn softened; I chalk Opal's up to her psychic visions of doom.

The second episode flew by for me, all pretty good. I will say it's quite the sight that the Chandler gala looked a hell of a lot better and more expensive than half of the parties I've seen on ABC and CBS with their millions in the last few years. Including the Nurses Ball, where that big room was half-empty.
