WTF?!? WHY the hell was Nia allowed to step in the house? There never should have been a vote as production should have stepped in and kicked her out. With it being the last episode nad 3 days of filiming left, its not like that would have had an impact on ratings. Good thing this happened in the final episode bc had this happened mid season, Id have dropped the show. In fact im glad she isnt on the Challenge, bc I wouldnt watch it if she were on. That violence should NOT be rewarded. Shame on MTV for not reprimanding her. She is on camera threatening the lives of several cast members and plotting to have one jumped and thats supposed to be okay? Im not going to but I almost feel compelled to write to MTV complaining about how irresponsible they were with how they handled this

The cast members are all punk ass bitches. Weak asses.

Dom...who the F is this clown? He's trying to act like this big scary thug and then he's touched by God and trying to play mediator? He came across very fake. Im surprised Jordan went to meet with him bc Id have hung up the phone

Do you guys call dog poop turd? Everyone on the show was saying that but thats not a word I ever use to describe it. Its either poop or sh-t.

Gonna watch the reunion next.

I mostly agree with you. I don't know what changed this season, but MTV and the production team allowed violence and premeditated assault. That's wrong and so different from what's been allowed in the past. Makes me wonder how this Challenge will be handled - will they allow violence and let the 'house' decide when to vote for people to go home?

To me though, I still feel like there was a lot of faking and acting from Nia and perhaps even this Dom character. MTV knew they needed to amp up the drama after a lackluster St. Thomas season and what they originally had with Portland.

Using the term 'turd' is totally acceptable - haha - it's used more when there is one visible piece of poop - it's called a turd. People also call other people 'turds'. It's like the singular form of poop or [!@#$%^&*]. LOL - I can't believe this is being dissected. :)

They've always allowed roommates to decide as to whether or not someone goes home. At least they've done that since Seattle when Stephen popped Irene in the face. It was up to the roomies if they allowed him to stay or go (despite her having chose to left when he smacked her), but he had to get therapy. Same situation occurred with Brynn on Las Vegas when she chunked a fork at Steven and they had to vote as to whether or not she stayed or went. In that situation too, Brynn to got to stay.

Saw the reunion and it was good to see Coral again! I had a love/hate feeling about her but I did miss her and wish she'd turn up on a Challenge again like Trishelle did after a long hiatus. Did Nia really try to throw shade at her on Twitter? Loved Coral letting it be known that she was the original bad bitch of RW

I wish they had asked Marlon about what his dad thought of his revelation that he slept with a man. I wanted to hear about that, bc I found it very odd how open he was about that given how he was brought up and how hard he tried to follow in the ways his father taught him.

So Joi left bc she had a sick bf at home? I don't get why they didn't reveal this instead. Would have given her exit a bit more credibility rather than look like a weak bitch.

Let me get this straight. Avery moved across the country to be with Johnny who still lives at home with his mother? WTF? Please tell me she doesn't live with them. Giiiirrrrrrrrllllllll......

well IMO this was different. In Stephen's case, Irene, his victim had left the house. In LV, Brynn genuinely showed remorse. Neither was the case here. Not only did Nia not show remorse, she said she was going to keep doing it and would keep coming for them. She was out of control and she was a physical threat to them going forward. Then we have her on camera plotting to have Jordan jumped. Production should have stepped in. Nia should have been taught a lesson instead of MTV having her on camera gloating about winning and getting what she wants.

Exactly... The fact that production never stepped in was the problem. In those others cases, it seemed like production told the cast to vote. Here, it was as if they had to come to the decision to vote on their own.

Didn't production step in during Denver with the Tyrie and Davis fight? Didn't they force one of them to get a hotel for the night? My mind is foggy on that, but I know something stopped them and broke them up.

Production didn't step in with the two of them until Davis demanded that he wanted to leave. Then they stepped in and escorted Davis to a hotel room to cool off.

Production didn't step in with Parisa & Trisha either on Sydney. Parisa called production and they told her that it was her decision since she was the one violated and she didn't reciprocate. She sent Trisha home.

IMO, I think that Bunim/Murray might be switching their fighting policy and making it bit more lenient b/c they do produce BGC too, and as Eric said, this may be a way to save the show's sagging ratings.

Again, I know I'm in the minority but I don't think that Nia should've went home. If she did, then Averey and Johnny should've left too. On shows like this, I feel that if you strike back then you ALL should leave.

And I love Coral to death but she is not the original b-tch on Real World. Tami & Beth of LA occupy that role. Coral just perfected it, and Nia has perfected what she's done.

Its crazy bc on the Challenges as soon as someone throws a punch, they are thrown out, no questions asked. It almost came across a bit hypocrtical of MTV to play that violence is not the answer disclaimer during the commercial break of the fight and then have Coral reiterate that while they did nothing to stop the violence or address it with repercussions.

And honestly like I said before, Nia belonged on the BGC, not this show. Her antics would have been suited in a house with other bitches who thought like her. Im guess Im weird bc thats like the only reality show where Ill tolerate physical violence. I cant explain my way of thinking but its almost expected there. Im not down for it elsewhere

Even though Nia clearly ripped a page out of Queen O's book, I can't quite hate her as much as this show wants me to. And yes, I was one of the people who cheered her on when she mollywhopped that baked-bean-eating assh0le and his dingbat girlfriend.

The saving grace for this season was seeing Marlon unequivocally having Nia's back (while telling her exactly when she was dead wrong) at all times. Lord knows it's been ages since I've seen a Black man on this show that isn't prone to throwing a Black woman under the bus in favor of brownnosing for white folks' approval, so it warmed my heart to see this happen on my screen.

Anyone watching the latest season, Skeletons? I didnt even know this existed till now so Im trying to catch up this weekend. No real opinions on the cast yet, except I cant stand Madison. That twist looks crazy and Im wondering what secrets this cast has.

I've been watching and I really can't stand the people. Tony is hot, but he's not a catch and the girls are all super annoying and miserable.

I'm going to keep watching for the Skeletons twist, but if that's a bust, then I'll drop it.

The ratings have been terrible - much much much lower than last year's season, which was actually pretty high. I can't tell if it's because they moved to Tuesday nights or if it's truly the people.

Even though I vowed not to watch another episode after the first one of the season, I sat down and watched this past week's episode and I still wasn't impressed. I like Madison and the boys are OK, but I cannot stand Nicole, Violetta, and Sylvia. Nicole's Staten Island accent irks my nerves. Gives me flashbacks of that racist c*nt-bag GinaMarie from Big Brother 15. And Sylvia and Violetta are just trash. Doing too much for the cameras. I get this impression that they are trying to be the house bitch (like Jamie from last season--RW: Explosion), so it'll get them attention and it doesn't. B*tches on RW work best when they are organic, hence why roommates like Coral, Beth, and Tami shined. The fans loved them. Sometimes hated them. They had good and bad attributes. But they never played up to the cameras. What you see is what you get. I feel like in recent years--well at least the last ten seasons, the houseguests act up for attention. Only bitchy roommate I've enjoyed the past season was Nia (RW Portland), and that was because her buildup to causing a house meltdown and nice and slow, but when it happened, it was good.

These past two season fall flat. Yes, I realize the show needs a shakeup but bringing in people they know ruins it. The whole premise of RW was seven strangers from all walks of life. I enjoyed watching polar opposites clash organically, and either learning something from each other or not. IMO, if RW wanted to shake it up then they should've did a house of fourteen strangers (7 guys, 7 girls) from all walks of life. For the thirtieth season, RW should've went all out like it was their last. They should've cast people that are gay and people that are uber religious. People from small towns, never exposed to different races and people from urban areas. Americans and people from abroad. This season should've been like the UN--every kind of walk of life in that house. That alone would've brought tons of drama. And it does not help when RW keeps going back to the same damn location. Why haven't they had a season in Atlanta? Toronto? Charlotte? Dallas? Madrid? Berlin? Venice? Or some other place we haven't been! So frustrating.

Might've been WAY back when because I remember Road Rules always use to come on Mondays. Real World would come on the following night and Wednesday and Thursday were nights for non-RW/RR shows. Unless there was a challenge, which would come on Wednesdays. Friday was always for Celebrity Deathmatch and Sundays belonged to Jackass.

Then they moved to Thursdays for a long time before moving to Wednesdays as alwaysAMC stated.

They didn't switch back to Tuesdays till this season.

    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.

    • Haha that scarf thing did go on a bit too long, very odd. And what a young Rick!  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just never got the physical appeal of Grant Aleksander, but he's definitely a great actor. Who is the older lady around the 8:30 mark, and also ends the episode, alone and in pain? She seems like a really interesting character. I love the smoky voice and sultry, snaky vibe she seems to have.
    • I can't remember exactly but I think she lives in or is part of the cottage story with Carrie. Carrie poisons her in this episode.  I forgot Teresa was on the show. (I see that AI is insisting she wasn't - well they're wrong) Poor Maeve. I can how even she had her limits.
    • It pisses me off that the other Duprees are making this incident all about them as well. They are playing a family of victims, acting as if Ted cheated on all of them. They should be supportive, but not like this. I have a family that makes anything that happens to me personally all about them, and seeing the same thing on TV is rage-inducing.
    • There are the makings of good Emmy reels in these past couple of episodes, but the industry is still going to favor even the most mediocre stories and performances on the older soaps. And with the pressure from the government over race I can see the academy shutting out Beyond The Gates to avoid criticism from the administration and the far right media.
