It is sad. These actresses are looking more and more plastic. I don't know if they think they look younger? They are not doing it. You can't look younger, if your genes are not like that. You only look stupid and odd. But there is the pressure from writers, producers, fans for these women at 50+ years to still rock these hot storylines, still be perceive as desirable and scandalous. So i can understand them kinda . :(

Well I think that really shows how Brad deals with changes. The second Ridge was out, Brad started creating Brill. He never thought about the character of Katie or what it will do in the long term. Brooke has been his main priority every time. I too think that it's the beginning of the end for Heather Tom on B&B.

I'm not sure if it means anything for Katie or not. Donna has been around for years without any real love interest.

Would Heather Tom really settle for being a supporting sporadically used comic relief character? She is accustomed to get steady major material and winning Emmys. CBS promoted her as a Daytime bright star and she got them to agree to have her real life baby play Will. I suppose if HT feels she has to stick around for financial reasons and to keep working with so few soaps still around, but I cannot imagine that she is happy with being shoved aside for KKL.

So Brooke learned nothing from this latest ordeal? Why do they insist on writing the character this way?! KKL said that she'd be playing Brooke more mature. Ho so?

I read on a now locked thread on SOC and that DD and KKL gave an interview where he said that BIll and Katie's marriage is "on the skids." Bill sends Brooke there for some event and joins her which is the start of their romance. It sounds like he is moving on with Brooke and leaving Katie in the dust.

on another board "Bill will surprise Brooke, who is promoting her lingerie line. One thing will lead to another and the two will end up making passionate love on a mega yacht. This is the upcoming romantic storyline, Brad hinted about."

I don't think she'd ever have quite as small a role as Donna, since she isn't always going on maternity leave, she can act, she can move her face, but I think between her family life and her theater career she might be OK with less to do. To me it's often felt like she's mostly a supporting character anyway, first in the dark about Steffy and then about Brooke. The main story where she seemed to be a lead was that offensive trash with Nick and with Storm killing himself.

If we've learned anything from Hope/Liam/Steffy is that if B&B finds a hot triangle, they have many ways of continuing it on and on and on. I don't see Brill being a quick endgame.

And this is why Brad Bell is smart...

The Monte Carlo Television Festival is major (free) promotion for the show in Europe and everything associated with it is paid for by HSH Prince Albert of Monaco. The actors live like royalty for a week or two, Prince Albert loves to foster Monaco's glamorous reputation and would have no issue getting whatever permits and filming locations the show needed, all Brad had to do was fly his crew over with some cameras.

And another reason why B&B from a production angle is heads above the other dramas. B&B was great with the visits to Italy, etc. for special storylines. Ever since they started using "real" LA outdoors shoots on a regular basis, then Aspen, etc., the show has really distinguished itself visually from others before it and what's on the air now.
