that's like the only recent one I skipped . I know them from the challenges and Jaz and Jonna always bring it. No clue who Emilie is

I say crazy ass Nia is in this. I wonder how she will do against the vets and if anyone will put up with her antics

Cheap, Emilee is batsh*t too. All the girls, including Ayiia, brought the drama the Cancun season. Cancun (along with Portland & Back to New Orleans) were one of the last good seasons.

I'm glad that Nia is doing the Challenge too. She'll bring that good drama. I'm glad that Leroy, Brandon N., Preston, Nany, Laurel, Cara, Devyn, and C.T. are on there too. I use to care for Aneesa until she became a b*tch towards Cara for no reason last season.

Hmm, no slapping, fighting, yelling? The promo seemed kind of lame. haha

I don't know, too many familar faces (Aneesa, Johnny, CT, etc) - I'm getting bored with all of them.

Where is Explosion? This current season of Real World has had higher ratings than the Challenges and definitely more than the last few seasons of Real World... some of the Explosion kids would have made this Challenge insane. Don't they normally include 2-3 of the new people?

Nia will make this fun, hopefully, as that chick was crazy.

I'm guessing Frank and Zach exit early... they didn't seem to be in the promos?

I stopped watching the Challenges after The Ruins once I realized all my old school favorites (Julie, Coral, Veronica, Miz, Darrell, Syrus, Emily, Ayanna, Amaya, Montana and Beth) most likely would never return again. Plus I grew tired of the whole Johnny, Evan and Kenny bullshit that completely destroyed the show. Thank God Evan and Kenny got banned for what they did to Tonya on Ruins. I love CT (mainly because he's drop dead gorgeous) but that boy has issues! Never could stand Diem's fake ass. I will occasionally catch clips if Katie is on just because I love that little spitfire so much! Luckily I have a lot of the older challenges on tape and break them out for nostalgia purposes. The Inferno 1 and Battle of the Sexes 1 will always remain my 2 favorite challenges!

I always hated Diem, too, but it is heartbreaking to hear she has to go through that hell again. That [!@#$%^&*] ain't right.

Cutthroat was my last one, too. My favourite moment was Tina, whose all mouth, losing to freaking Theresa. One of the biggest embarrassments in Challenge history and I relished every moment. I watched the final of the one CT and Paula won as well, but I just couldn't fathom watching another whole season. The last Real World I cared about was Brooklyn, so anyone that came after that (and a lot before) was fast forward material.

    • Someone has been posted episodes from 1994 and Jill Powell (Marcy Lafferty) has a hot storyline right now. Just googled her and in real-life she is now openly out as a Lesbian with a transgender son.
    • Did anyone else notice that DAYS has not been in the Top 10 most streamed shows on Peacock this week??? I find that very strange considering how good the show has been, especially this week.
    • Cast changes in 2025 (so far, not much has happened): GZSZ Pauline Afaja (Flo Kästner) departed on March 10th, 2025. She had only been on the show for about a year. Flo as a character never really clicked with the audience. Her final storyline involved her catching feelings for the much older Nina Reichelt Klee Ahrens Navarro out of the blue – while she was in a relationship with the wheelchair-bound Jonas Seefeld. Onno Buß joined the cast as Julian Kaltenbach on January 31st, 2025. Julian is Matilda's twin brother ... and another illegitimate child of Jo Gerner. Charlott Reschke, who had played Johanna Flemming on a recurring basis from 2015 to 2024, returned at the end of May. The 20-year old actress has now been placed on contract. Last week on GZSZ:

    • Not to ramble too far off topic but it happens a lot with comics too, especially only wanting to keep cheap talent around and pushing out creative voices. There are some patches where creatives can go to start their own worlds...wish that was true with soaps, but who knows, maybe it can happen someday. I never thought we'd get a new soap this year.
    • Very true & also at least in the case of stand-out HWs, it is fraught with exhaustion & burnout.
    • Plus we are never going to have a Shonda Rhimes, a Dick Wolf, or a Chuck Lorre of daytime -- a single brilliant person who could come in and change the genre -- because Shonda, Dick, or Chuck would only be able to work on one soap opera at a time, not three or four at the same time as they do in primetime.  As long as TPTB insist on the 60-minute format, we will never have another super influential individual like Phillips, Nixon, or Bell.  They simply would never have time to do more than one soap opera at a time and that would stifle their influence overall. Thanks. So maybe this is happening to some degree in other entertainment genres.  I don't keep up with the particular franchises you mentioned, so I was unaware.  I appreciate your perspective.
