May 15, 201312 yr Member This is just... Ugh... A sh*tshow. In one scene we're pretending that Kiki (dear God) and Starr have no similarities. In the next, we learn that this new character by Michael Easton looks exactly like Stephen Clay who looked exactly like John McBain. And the "cliffhanger" was seeing if Todd was supposed to be Todd or a lookalike or a brand new dude with a rad gnarly 1987 "I'm A Gay Man With HIV" After-School Special hairdo. An absolute [!@#$%^&*] show. Edited May 15, 201312 yr by Gray Bunny
May 15, 201312 yr Member I don't see that James Franco was particularly irreplaceable on GH. Wasn't his character and performance almost universally panned? To me, the bigger question is why saddle any actor with that albatross of a character. He should have stayed DEAD. Not soap dead. Just DEAD and forgotten, imo. If he's the real Franco, he's a Quartermaine and helps build the family back up. And because we haven't seen the real Franco before, we know nothing of the character, so it's not really an albatross but a blank slate.

There's no redeeming Franco's impersonator, so I don't believe that is what FRon are going for. They are aiming to get Roger back to the central of this show in an established family. The Real Franco is one of those ways.
