I got hit by a truck while walking to school once. Not even joking, y'all.

I had to cross a very busy road that merged onto a highway 5 minutes down that road so people were always speeding. Lucky only my boot got hit and knocked off the one time a car hit me.

We used to rush home to catch GH at 3 to the point where we stopped getting off at our stop and got off at one somewhat further away but the time we'd be getting home was the time our bus would actually drop off at our stop( that's what happens when all the stops are at major middle and elementary schools close by and kids from all over town ride your bus).

I wasn't completely sure if schools in the northeast started later than they do here (typically anywhere between 7am and 7:30am), so I was willing to give them that allowance.

I should've gone to Cheap's school since it started so late. I went to school in PA and most schools started by 8 in my region

I went to school in the wrong ass state. Most days, I'd get home in time to catch most of DAYS at 3 pm. Then, it was homework while watching all the other soaps I had taped that day.

LOL...I rememebr in my senior year I was able to catch the second half of OLTL/PSSNS bc I was able to drive. Before that, I wouldnt get home till 3:00 or after when riding the bus

The story where he had Mitch as Jessica's father try to rape her for the sole purpose of impregnating her, complete with giving her electroshock therapy to mess up her mind should have been portrayed as the dark serious plot it was. To turn that around and give us comical teen Jess was such an insult and what caused me to just drop the show. I was that disgusted with the story and how it was treated. Incest, rape, abuse...you dont play with that stuff. It wasnt cool and it wasnt funny and then he made all the characters around her enable her as if there was nothing wrong with her thinking she was a teenager and enrollin back in HS at 30+ years old. I should probably stop right there before I get too worked up

Which is why I also hate when soaps use rape and abuse to get us to like characters. Like so an so is annoying and shrieky let's have them hurt so the audience will fall in love with them.

I remember the one year in one of the soap rags they did a comparison between all the soaps(this was long before all the cancellations) to rank the most violent acts. They had categories for murder, rape, shootings, domestic violence, etc.
