It was a very different kind of friendship though. They didn't sit around eating ice cream, giving each other mani-pedis and talking about boys like they do now.

It wasn't ever really a friendship with Nelson and CLB. They were in the whole S&M relationship, then became enemies.

I liked Sandra as Phyllis. Phyllis was tough as nails and Sandra brought that to the fore. Michelle had a little more vulnerability, but they weren't too far off of each other - I'd say Michelle became more like Sandra when she returned in 2000.

ITA to all that plus the crap she started over the Vera Wang dress, the LA diatribe, kissing GW's as on twitter when he was first hired then bashing him as soon as he was gone because she didn't get a big story, saying Snooki should've died in the hurricane, the angry comments when LM was first hired then kissing up to her the next minute, coming at Bristol Palin because of her mother, coming at Zendaya(seriously she's around NLG's daughter's age) because she's on DWTS and yes there's more.

Her throwing a bunch of shade at James Franco (which might have been deserved) and then throwing a dig at VM about her not raising the ratings (like any Alexis story ever has) too. And they seem to be friends..Ugh

I'm guessing you mean Phyllis? I actually liked Sandra Nelson. She was good at playing Phyllis the way she was written at the time, though there's no way I could buy her as the Phyllis of today. Nelson's Phyllis with Nick or Ronan? Not a chance.

True, I could never have bought Sandra Nelson's Phyllis with either Nick or Ronan. Her phyllis had great chemistry with Michael.. while michelle's Phyllis had more buddy chemistry with Michael.

Though the jack/Phyllis thing started when Sandra Nelson was her and I liked them better together. Did her Phyllis have any buddy scenes with Malcolm? I know Phyllis and Malcolm were friends when Michelle played her originally.
