How many years ago was it that they lived on a pier and some guy opened a cab to slap this melodramatic girl in the face? She may have eventually come down with a disease or something.

Ummmm that was Seattle and it aired in 1998 so....... 14 maybe almost 15 years. I don't know the exact month it debuted.

LOL, that was Stephen & Irene... I swear idk why he was that mad. But that was one crazy a** moment in RW history.

ILU! Me too! I was basically 9 and cracking up so much at that scene and when we get into old school RW talks I start becoming Dan and going, "Did this have open me melissa on it?" "Is your name Dan?" and then when she starts going off on him and Dan's face KILLS me every damn time!

Awwww VH, you gon make me shed a tear! I LOVED Genesis & Kameelah and that was definitely a sad moment and I wanted to punch that kid in the face. Especially when she said that she feels like she'd hate people. That comes from parents, so really I wanted to punch her mom more. I liked the way they handled it.

Not that I hadn't loved Kameelah already, but that solidified my love because she knew how to correct that girl without ranting at her. It was definitely a great moment - especially since some were trying to imply that Genesis looked too "feminine" to be (taken seriously as) a "real lesbian".

I'm trying to remember and iirc Montana was shady as hell and there were times I could not stand her!

I felt kinda bad laughing at him saying "Whore, whore, whore."

Just finished watching NYC and I'm mad that they edited out the original music that aired with the episodes - especially since they're airing on the original channel! No ATCQ, no Right Said Fred, no nothing!

I'm not sure if the old-school Real World marathons are going to air past this weekend, but I highly suggest the programming director follow NYC 1.0, SF, and LV up with those 90s seasons (minus London because I couldn't even make it through that one) during the weekend. After all, if they could air Laguna Beach, Daria, and The Hills in their entirety over the course of weeks, I can't see why they can't do the same for the reality show that started it all.

Besides, there's only so much Snooki & JWoww, Ridiculousness, and Teen Mom that needs to be desperately seen.
