Oh, man. Connor Paolo was an incredibly talented young actor - but although they had him move to Llanview, they never put his character, Travis, on contract, and he was in demand then as well as now so off he went. Connor has since done a load of films and television, including playing the gay kid on Gossip Girl; he is now uncomfortably attractive on Revenge.

I despise him on Revenge but I did think he was a talented younger actor. Didn't he play Young Alexander in the Oliver Stone/Colin Farrell movie around the time of One Life? that coul dbe why he sorta disappeared.

IIRC, he went off to summer camp, met someone and dumped her by phone or email. The sad thing is he was probably Starr's best love interest ever, and they were both like 12.
