Ah so the AMC cast was not in front of that same door. That's good that the shows really had totally different shoots. Nice shot of Denyse, she's a very pretty girl.

I watch Hollyoaks so I'm aware of their larger casts, but even in those cases I think it's a mistake. Often on British soaps character disappear for weeks, sometimes months at a time. I think that's sloppy. I always hate when a big family event happens and there are a few people missing because of this. I would hate for the Prospect Park soaps to attempt large casts like that, or even casts as big as the hour soaps. It just leads to sloppy storytelling IMO.

ITA. The UK soaps give new meaning to the terms "frontburner" and "backburner." When I started watching Coronation Street, it took months for me to even see some of the characters, and then some characters who'd been on almost every single day would vanish, not even appearing in pub scenes. The UK soap formula is different form the US soap formula in at least a million different ways, and I think it would be a huge mistake to try to force a US soap into the UK mold, especially in this infant medium, where everything is so touch-and-go.

I am OK with minshew in the role but I think the role needs more layers. Not the SAME EXACT layers as Erica because I don't want this to be a Tess/Jess; Niki/Vikki (SP?) thing but they need to explore her early life. I wish they would explore her and her adopted families life more. I would even like to see her adopted parents (or relatives) trying to reconnect with her.

Please return full time Lish, please, I want to see people be pressed ;D
