Members skiman12082004
I just need something clarified: I know AMC & OLTL are sharing the same studio but are they sharing the same crew as well? My initial guess is yes but I am just curious to find out if anyone knows for sure. The more I think about it this plan is ingenious on PP's part and a great way to cut production cost. I just hope and pray that this venture is a HUGE success. Thanks in advance to anyone that can answer the question :-)

Members skiman12082004
Thanks John. I know they both have different writers, producers, and directors I was thinking more along the lines of cameras, lighting, hairstyling etc.

Members LeClerc
Some crew are doing both shows and some aren't. For example longtime AMC stage manager Fritz Brekeller is doing both AMC and OLTL but another longtime AMC stage manager, Penny Bergman, is just doing AMC. From what I understand the lead hair stylist for both shows is from OLTL. OLTL's Susan Gammie is the costume designer for both shows but a couple of former AMC wardrobe people are assisting her with AMC only.
Members EnglishTea
Even on primetime shows, often two crews exist within one production. For instance, 1st AD, 2nd AD, 2nd 2nd AD, and their PAs will work one week on production while the 2nd team preps the next episode, and then the AD team who prepped their episode moves into production, and back and forth it goes. Best guess is that PP is allowing for overlap and enough crew to prep while the other is in production. For the on crew set, i.e. lighting, electrical, grips, camera, sound, etc - they are most likely working on both shows.
Members EricMontreal22
And AMC and OLTL shared the same production designer (Ron Moodey?) for years. Surely SOMEONE at Blisswhatever used a camera phone and shot the footage. C'mon. I can't believe for a conference full of bloggers the best we've gotten so far was that dull report from the woman who didn't seem to even know the show. Members EricMontreal22
Seriously--why wasn't ANY soap press there? I would have expected at the least a description of what they saw.

Members Vee
Someone has to be able to run it down for us. We get up to the second descriptions of film trailers before they get released - we can get something on this from someone. This is the most I've got so far other than the useless post from that Locurto woman.

Members Vee
Why doesn't one of us who actually has Twitter approach one of these Blissdom women who's mentioned AMC and ask for details? What's the worst that could happen?
