Members Vee
IIRC - I may be wrong - the only difference is you can watch the shows on your TV with Hulu Plus, as I will since I paid my $8 a year ago for its vast Criterion Collection selection. With regular Hulu, for free, you only watch the shows on your computer monitor. There will likely also be extra content/BTS stuff with Plus, but I dunno. Members SFK
Thank you Vee and Silver, and Jonathan. I will definitely be watching on my lap- or desktop anyway, but I'll consider Plus if there are in fact some added incentives.

Members allmc2008
Want me too?? Everyone knows how uncensored I can be!!! I SOO no what you guys are going through! I remember someone back when the SoapNet boards were around say "I bet Agnes is a nice person but I think she needs to give up writing. This Stuart Shooting Storyline is horrible!". I was like Can you read the opening credits?? I think we are the only fans that are worth a Damn (Plus a select few that don't go on the boards like my Ex-Professor) because we actually know how soaps function! How many times can they say this will be free? It would be tacky as sin if PP puts "And you can watch for free or pay 7.99 to watch on your iPad!" in the promos but I guess they may have too. Members All My Shadows
Actually, I can see them forcing the actors to tape a tacky tutorial video to help the uninformed. "Make sure you don't miss a minute!"
Webmaster Errol Posted March 19, 2013 Author Webmaster Share Posted March 19, 2013 The difference between Hulu and Hulu Plus is dependent on how much you like hurting your ass while sitting at a desk, having a heavy object on your lap or love the luxury of lounging while enjoying something on the big screen without having to have had previously scheduled a recording and less commercials than your typical television program. For me, Hulu Plus is a must! You are not paying $7.99 a month to watch AMC or OLTL...you are paying $7.99 a month to watch the two soaps and hundreds (if not thousands) of programming that either are no longer available on cable/syndication or aired last night and you were just not interested in wasting DVR space to record. I literally watch EVERYTHING on ABC, FOX, NBC, The CW (that I actually watch, I mean) on Hulu via Hulu Plus. I do not watch much TV on traditional broadcast television. I can even wait to watch an episode the next day even if it's a MUST watch episode. Not going to force my schedule around a program anymore. That's the difference. On premiere day, we'll definitely do a launch party on the boards/site, but I won't be watching during the day. I'll be watching in the early hours of the morning or late at night after a long hard days work. That's the luxury of Hulu Plus. Hulu...I refuse to hurt my ass after being on a computer the whole day to begin with anyway. Tangent over...
Members Vee
Those Facebook people are unbelievably stupid. I'd tape the tutorials, hire a skywriter, send people door-to-door and possibly hire interpretive dancers.
Members Mr. Vixen
I have Hulu Plus, but you can watch Hulu on your TV without Hulu plus. Same with netflix. All you have to do is hook an HDMI chord from your laptop to your TV and bam, you can stream any internet video right on your TV. But like I said, I have Hulu Plus. But before I did, I did it the ghetto way. LOL.
Webmaster Errol Posted March 19, 2013 Author Webmaster Share Posted March 19, 2013 I did that with Amazon Prime until they launched it on Xbox...now I'm good
Members SFK
I have a Roku that I haven't hooked up in over a year. Can you watch hulu through Roku? I've only ever watched Netflix or Amazon Prime on it. The newest Roku has a headphone jack in the remote control which I think is like the coolest thing ever.
