Here's the first promo for it. And, it's a 50 anniversary promo too. Not sure if I should have put this here or Spoiler Island. But, there's not really many spoilers in the promo. But, move if so.

1st eppy questions:

1. When did Audrey first appear?

2. Did Peggy die or did she and Steve break up? If it's the latter, did he leave her for Audrey?

3. Was Phil an abusive assh0le or was he just testy because of the demands of work?

4. Did Jessie ever marry again post-Phil?

Phil was controlling and philandering. He eventually raped his second wife.

Jessie married several times, once to Lee Baldwin (then she left him for Phil one last time), and I think to a man named something Prentice.

I'm mostly taping these, at least some, to watch with a friend, but I saw a little of Heather. I wish they hadn't ruined her this past decade.

First '79 eppy questions:

1. Was Monica having trouble giving birth to AJ because she had a difficult pregnancy, the stress of her secret, or because she had no anesthesia?

2. I know Evilena hated Monica because she didn't think that she was good enough for Alan, but I want to know if Monica came from a lower or middle class background?

3. Was Mitch the first of Evilena's trifling husbands/love interests? Who was the lady with him?

4. As much as I've never liked Evilena, it is kind of pathetic that the closest thing to a genuine love interest that she's had (according to what I've read online) in her 35+ years on this show is a temp called Joe Scully, Jr.

Also. Lou is freaking annoying. She's like Courtney.

I guess that blows the Sabrina Is The Most Annoying Character In GH History theory out of the water...tongue.png

As for number 3. No. Tracy had a hubby before Mitch who was an a-hole too but he was off screen. He was Ned's dad. Larry Ashton. The lady with Mitch was Susan Moore. Mother of St. Jaysus the Borg.

Yes, Monica came from a poor background, was orphaned, and got taken in by Gail Baldwin. Mitch was the first in the long line of her no good husbands.

1. Was Phil's second wife a known character or one that is connected to another popular/current character?

2. Was Jessie married when she'd passed away?

1. sad.png I would've liked to have seen Audrey introduced so I can see how she and Dr. Steve were as young lovers, though on the bright side, those 90s still showed that the flame still shone bright between those two in their golden years.

2. I realize I'm appealing to the Bobbie-stan in you, but I do wish that I'd see a Bobbie marathon so that I can see how she grew from trifling and conniving bitch to wise and caring soul - especially since I'd met her when she was married and happy with Tony and their children, Lucas and BJ. Something tells me that her transformation wasn't an instant one like these lazy writers do nowadays to characters who haven't earned it.

Me too.

And yes, I'd love a Bobbie marathon. Her transition was was definitely not overnight. Her abusive marriage, inability to have children, overwhelming losses, etc. all built up to her transition.

1.Lord Larry? He couldn't have been that bad since he and Evilena created my Nedley...wub.png But, seriously, what made Nedley's father a lout? And you mean to tell me that he never appeared on canvas once? What a shame.

2. So, Susan's concubining precedes Alan? Hmm, I always thought that she was brought on canvas specifically to screw with Alan & Monica. Did she have any redeeming qualities at all or was she grimy from beginning to end?

I thought by Evilena you were referring to Helena laugh.png

I guess I should say Evilena Q to differentiate...

He just kinda mistreated Tracy according to her. He was on canvas back in the late 80s. But, he wasn't with Tracy as a couple then. .

Susan had been with Mitch, then Alan, then Scott....and probably a few in between. She was a slut.

1. Taken in? I thought that Monica was well into her 20s when she came on as a doctor in the late 70s. Was her triangle with Alan & Rick a case of her truly loving the doctor of humble means, yet choosing to go with the doctor with the big money in order to secure her station in life?

2. So, basically, Evilena's had sh!tty taste in men for 35+ years? I wonder how come the writers never had the same consideration for her as they did for Bobbie and Monica (bad girls who at least got one good man in their years on this show).

More 1st '79 eppy questions:

1. Was Lesley happily married to Rick when Monica dropped that bomb or were they already separated at the time?

2. When Monica said that Rick could have the son that he's always wanted, was this an indication that Lesley couldn't have her own kids (hence the adoption of Laura) or that she simply couldn't 'succeed' in birthing a boy for him?

3. Was this before or after Alan threatened to drop a house on Rick & Monica?
