Members FrenchFan
From Nancy M. Reichardt, Friday December 14th 1990: "BY MUTUAL agreement, "Guiding Light" has released Pamela Long from her commitment as head writer for the show. By the time you read this, the new head writing team of Nancy Curlee, Stephen Demorest and James E. Reilly will have already taken over. Curlee and Demorest (who are married in real life), as well as Reilly, have been writers on the show for some time. Although there will undoubtedly be changes in story line and characters, no immediate cast exits were mentioned.

Members Y&RWorldTurner
Looks like Hogan Sheffer was either finally fired or demoted. He's not credited on Monday's US Y&R episode. Good riddance if he's been let go...
Members RavenWhitney
Hogan gone from Y&R? Not surprising... Who thinks the next bit of news will be: Hogan Sheffer joins McPherson as co-headwriter of AMC reboot?
Members allmc2008
I Posted this on another thread. Whoever gives me an answer first gets a lollypop: I don't know anything about Horgan Sheffer except that he had been let go from Y&R. Would he be good at AMC?? Is he the one Agnes liked? Members juppiter
McPherson and Sheffer would be a weird combination. She's so boring and he's so insane. Is this a case where the product of two negatives would be a positive?
Members y&r_fan
NO. Hogan Sheffer wouldn't be good on ANY show except maybe The Biggest Loser, and if Agnes Nixon likes him she needs to change her medication.
