I totally agree! But I actually liked JB, too. Better than I liked Wright for years, though I've finally started to like her.

I liked JB but she never stood a chance. They completely played her. I think JL would have lasted longer had she gotten the part.

I never thought about it but damn they totally could pass for mother/daughter very believably. More so than any other Carly except maybe SJB.

You're right about JB. I feel bad for her. She got such a bad reaction but it was clear to me from the beginning that TPTB set it up for us to not like her so we'd all laud to the heavens when LW took over.

But I digress. Soapboy, I don't think TIIC were trying to manipulate the audience because JB was really good, which is why I hated to see her go. She was clearly keeping the spot warm, however. I didn't know anything about LW coming over, I was just happy I could finally enjoy Carly. Then she was gone. I honestly thought JB was really good. My only problem was that she was too handsome.

I just felt like they threw this mental breakdown story at her knowing that nobody would connect because she was new in the role, and I felt they set her up to fail. I liked her a lot especially in scenes like this (and NO it's not just because it's with Bobbie, though I did buy them as mother/daughter).

She's a good actress. I liked her on OLTL as Georgie too. But, I'm just talking about her looks. I could never take her seriously in a love scene because of that.
