PP are the ones who created this situation, they let ABC use these characters and never gave a time limit they could use them for. They're the ones who didn't have their acts together originally to get these shows online like they said they would. People like to blame ABC, but it all goes back to PP not living up to what they said they'd do originally.

ABC had every right to want to use these characters and same for any AMC characters they might have wanted to use. PP allowed it. How would PP be "cowering" to ABC or anyone, when it all goes back to them and not getting these shows online almost two years ago.

Recast Todd while Roger is still in the role and on another show is dumber than I ever thought PP could be, wow.

PP only allowed these characters. They own the lisence to these characters. They were only on loan to ABC & they knew it. Now ABC doesnt want PP to use them. That is BS. ABC is in the wrong here.

PP got the shows going, they are in the right. ABC is not

I don't think they ever intended to pull that trigger. They just wanted to get Todd, and they did.

As much as I understood the impulse to use the OLTL characters when PP fell through and thought it was the right move, the fact is ABCD and GH knew this could happen. Now they have to learn to work with it.

A lot of people are trying to make it look like PP is the bad guy and in the blame for all of this, but both PP & ABC are equally to blame for the handling of this situation. I really cannot wait to see what the final outcome is.

I also think that Frank & Ron should just let it go and focus more on GH's 50th and core families instead of going out of their way to fight for & create new characters for three actors who have only been on the show for a year.

I know some like to perpetrate like they know EVERY single detail and all the ins and outs of the contract/deal ABC/PP made, as if they have a certified copy of the agreement in front of them ....but we really don't. Anywho you pretty much resolved your own gripe against PP in this situation. use...use....USE...!

USE.....not have.

And I would had LMMFAO if PP had recast Todd and forced GH/ABC to make RH play a different character. As I've said before... an out of work clown would be a good fit with his new persona.

no one's making PP look anything they're not already, it's pretty simple ;)

I'm guessing PP knew recasting Todd would flop really bad and drive away alot of the very viewers they want by having Todd on the show. THere was so much backlash from what was seen all over the place, even people who hated Todd and co on GH were against PP, speaks volumes

use, and for how long, did PP ever say, it sure doesn't sound like it. One doesn't have to know in and outs to know this. If there was something like that all PP would have to do is enforce it

Or Carly's bootlicker, I know that's what you'd prefer ;)

LOL I don't watch GH...so I don't prefer anything one way or another. I watched and have only ever watched(faithfully) AMC & OLTL. There you go assuming;) I guess that goes back to your thoughts that if someone disagrees with you it must mean they think the exact opposite of you in all facets.... of everything. Which kinda ties in nicely with the whole ..."my opinion is FACT" thing you got going on there.

I don't claim to know every detail..... but maybe PP could have been more clear in their deal with ABC, but we don't know the true details. That said, from what we do "know"(term use loosely) is that PP let ABC USE the CHARACTERS with the stipulation that if they got the show(s) off the ground they could and most likely would get the option and have the right to request the characters to return. They did. It's pretty simple.

It's also naive to think ABC knew nothing of PP's continued plans to still revive the shows. which I've seen you imply. To think ABC just sat around twiddling their thumbs while shows (they STILL OWN) were being rebooted is a laughable thought. Then again this all leads back to us not knowing all the details of the agreement.

I used to live a few stops away from Stamford on the Metro-North New Haven Line. Metro-North is the system of commuter trains from Grand Central Station that branch out into the New York and Connecticut suburbs. My commute to/from Grand Central was about 50 minutes. Stamford is further, but Stamford is a major suburb and has additional express trains, so an actor leaving from Grand Central could get there in about 45 minutes, then be driven to the studio. The commute can be a real pain, but thousands of people do it every day so I think everyone will just suck it up and go home every night.

Stamford station also services Amtrak so Debbi Morgan for example could take the train all the way up from Maryland if she was so inclined.

IMO the entire last year was nothing but damage to the OLTL finale and should ALL be undone. I wish they would have just left OLTL alone and brought the three on as new characters in the first place. GH fans hated the 3 "taking over" their show and I hate what Ron did to my show.
