WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Sharing the characters is the worst possible solution for me, and the only thing guaranteed to make me watch neither show. I don't care about the actors. Just the characters. They belong on OLTL. Their 10 month stint on GH doesn't make them GH characters. They should be on OLTL. And the last thing I want to see is Ron and Frank continuing to exercise any control over OLTL storylines. I would rather give them up entirely, as stupid as that would be, than I would accept having them shuttled back and forth between Ron the Hack and the OLTL writers. Ron's done all the damage to OLTL I want to see. He's obviously moved on to his new job and really doesn't care about the history on OLTL. So he needs to let it all go.

He'll first appear either next week or the week after. Will provide further details either tonight or over the weekend.

Shouldnt all this be in the spoiler section..or not...lol...

Well that is as it should be IMO. The actors should be free to work wherever they choose. But those Characters belong in Llanview. Period.

John fits better on GH than he did on OLTL, alot of GH/OLTL fans say they like him better on GH than they ever did on OLTL(I think that's cause he's free of the red headed albatross)

It's more than a matter of 'think' if you read some of the spoilers.

The statement was fairly classy except the 'even though we have paid millions of dollars' bit, which reminds me of their pouty blame-the-victim tactics with Susan and the WGA last time. I hope they mean it and this is resolved bloodlessly and happily for the trio of actors, who hopefully will be willing to come and go.

I'm willing to pay them to let GH keep John. That's how decent he's been on GH and how much of a cancer he is to OLTL.

I said it'd be jarring to the fans and it would be. We see them in one role then they turn around and are recast into a new role--I'll pass. Keep Starr and Todd or give the two actors the boot.

You don't think it's jarring to OLTL fans to see John and Todd doing some of the [!@#$%^&*] they're doing on GH? Why should OLTL be less possessive of the characters that were created on their show, for their show and developed over years and through multiple headwriters than the GH fans who've grown to care about them for a whole 10 months?

Maybe Errol can answer this? Don't actors have cycles in their contracts where they can be released? Since all three started a year ago, i would assume they are at their cycle, is ABC picking up their cycle and therefore keeping them on contract and basically paying them not to work or are all three being released and can sign elsewhere, like another soap?

When you think about it the character are need more in Port Charles then in Llanview. The are tooooooo entwined into the core characters of the show. And it would be very difficult and just up send them back to Llanview with some lame excuse. If they do that I will be very pissed off. I would say just keep them on the show and make them play past characters but that would be confusing for some fans. Like I said before Michael can play Caleb or Stephen. Roger can play a Hardy and Kirsten can play Christina, Lucy's daughter.

Wow! There are a lot of OLTL fans who want them back. I don't care if John and Natalie reunite. I just primarily don't want Frank and Ron to have their nasty paws on any piece of OLTL ever again. They've trashed it enough thank you.

There is no need for them on GH either. Sam moves on very easily as demonstrated.

What's left for any character until a new story is created for them.

I just do not want any piece of OLTL to exist on GH. Period.

LOL. Lame excuses are what brought them to Port Charles to begin with. Sammy moves on really easily. She won't be missing John for long.
